✨February marks our 2 year anniversary! This past year, we had over 1,500 class registrations and raised over $10,000 for the North Brooklyn Angels!  We are blown away by the abundance of community. A beautiful example of this is our NEW WEBSITE, which was designed by Jenna Swan, a frequent GCY participant who so generously volunteered her time & talent to give us a digital home. The website is populated by photos from @mooreoth, a photographer who kindly donated a photoshoot.  We hope that you will enjoy the new site and the new sign up flow. You’ll find our February dates 2/15 and 2/22 are now open for booking ✨ by @greenpointcommunityyoga

With thanks, to our community. May you feel the joy of today, however you are spending it. May you feel your aliveness and recognize the infinite conditions that have conspired to bring you to this present moment. May you delight in carrying on family traditions, or in going a new way all your own. Gratitude grows from joy: when joyful moments arise, fill your cup, friends. We’ll see you soon, we’re ever thankful for you! 📸 @mooreoth by @greenpointcommunityyoga

🍂🍁 October sign ups are live - join us on Sunday, 10/19 and Monday, 10/27 for cozy, fall flows. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (which is the basis of Yin Yoga), autumn is the element metal. This element teaches us about heaviness, release, slowing down. We’re witnessing leaves fall, it’s spectacular and it’s a loss. Our work and school lives may be speeding up, while our bodies are slowing down, becoming aware of a winter to come. Wherever you are in this seasonal change, we invite you to find warmth in yourself – on your mat, in the present moment, in community. We look forward to seeing you all soon ✨ 📸: @mooreoth by @greenpointcommunityyoga
