New WIP...
.
Process: I actually started sketching this piece directly in my DCC, no pencil sketches for composition and form this time. Using Houdini for procedurally modeling and animating the flowers, four-winged fluffy hummingbird, and other elements. Initially rendered using Redshift. I used Midjourney to create png images of a single flower petal and an iris for the bird's eye, which after processing through Photoshop, I was able to create alpha, albedo, bump, and displacement maps for use in my Redshift materials. I then did a very quick (again, WIP) cc and fluff up, and final render in After Effects.
.
The four-winged fluffy hummingbird is a character I have been developing for an upcoming series of artworks leveraging non-verbal storytelling.

So happy to be a part of this, and planning on being there in person to explore NFT.NYC2024. by @gregorypezeshki

In each drop there are 24.006M particles. If each one were a person, it would be about the size of New York state.
.
Each one could be a daughter, a mother, a son, a father. Everyone is someone, even if you're no one.
.
Some stand out, of course, perhaps some famous names, a brief glittering flash here and there.
.
Can you see each one?
.
It's hard, I know, but each has a face, a life of their own.
.
It's far easier to see the larger groups, rather than the individual, as they swirl, change direction, dissipate, and coalesce, until finally, they fade.
.
Then they are born again. Flowing in a circadian rhythm. Will they live the same lives? Or will they choose another way?
.
Does it seem ridiculous to just repeat the same path?
