Thank you everyone for the lovely birthday wishes xx by @grimesbyname
Still on such a high from our BAFTA win last Sunday night. It’s such a fantastic way to celebrate EastEnders 40th year and a real testament to the amazing production team. @bbceastenders @bafta by @grimesbyname
It’s such an honour and privilege to be part of the EastEnders team… and winning a Special Award at the BAFTA Television Craft Awards is an amazing testament to everyone’s hard work and talent. EastEnders has also been nominated in the Soap category, so looking forward to the BAFTA Television Awards at the Royal Festival Hall on 11th May. @bafta @bbceastenders @bbcstudios by @grimesbyname
Tonight (21 Mar) at 7pm, @comicrelief will celebrate 40 years of @rednoseday in ‘Comic Relief: Funny for Money’ (@bbcone and @bbciplayer). As part of this epic, three-hour TV extravaganza, a 5 minute episode of @bbceastenders will debut exclusively, which I had the honour of producing. This appeal film collaboration, written by @petelawson, will explore further Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) mental health storyline. In particular, his relationship with Andy (Jake Rory), a patient from last night’s Mental Health Unit special episode. We worked closely with the @brandoncentre, a Comic Relief funded charity which focuses on youth mental health support and the outcome has been extremely impactful and will resonate with so many people. @bbcstudios by @grimesbyname
