🌊 The fish-man cometh! FFVI POSTER REVEAL!
As the fog gets closer and closer, we’re pumped to finally unveil this year’s poster art courtesy of @ryderwaltersart25

“My name is Ryder Walters, I’m 19 years old and from Corner Brook, Newfoundland. I play bass in the thrash metal band PARANOIA and I also love to play drums! I love 80s and 90s thrash and death metal. Horror movies are sick too so I’m super stoked that I got to make the poster for this years FOGFEST! Thank you all so much for the opportunity!”

🎣 Six years of #DIYORDIE. What does that mean? No slop. No shortcuts.

We started this festival because we believe in the power of human creativity, and in genre filmmaking as a haven for voices with something important to say. Our team is made up entirely of filmmakers and artists who have already been - and will continue to be - affected by the rise of AI trash in our waters. So, this year’s theme is a celebration of art that truly takes heart, soul, and blood to create. We’re gonna party like only humans (and sea monsters) can🤘

🚫AI? No b’y. See you in the fog.

It’s that time of fear again - our annual collab with Kelly Hynes Dentistry just dropped and it’s a SCREAM. Big thanks to Dr. Hynes, Scott, and the staff for bringing us on to parody horror icons in a dental office for close to a decade now.

Thankful for all the friends and family that allowed us to make our #nobudget short films 8+ years ago while we tried to figure out just how to actually make short films. Also thankful for the greatest dialogue adlib of all time from @paulwarford. “Turkey turkey” didn’t really make sense to me then and I’m not sure it does now but it’s the perfect lead up to being slayed with an electric carving knife. HAPPY TURKEY TURKEY TO YOU ALL - I AM THANKFUL. 🍗
