Last year’s “Camp Drop Off Campout” was a huge success…so figured we’d do it again, and get Gabe involved. Even with the ⛈️, we were high (up on the roof) and dry (THX @thule ). Gabe was the saddest of all to see Lexi off, but I know she’ll have a great week! ⚽️ 🏕️ 🌲 by @gritsinnyc

I know most of the country is back to school already, but for us today was the day. Farewell Summer…we really took advantage this go ‘round. 🎾⚽️☀️🌊🛥️Excited for the year, sad and happy to see them continue to grow up. 😭😊 by @gritsinnyc

Wow, I can’t believe I’m here. Dropping Lexi off at her first sleep away camp?! We made the most of it by driving up the night before and camping out, before the early drop off today. Gosh, to be a kid again…but so happy she gets this experience.

We had some fun camping, roasting marshmallows, playing mini golf, swimming … and had some interesting visitors to our site. Aaah, the great outdoors. by @gritsinnyc

Finishing up a fantastic week in China 🇨🇳 with a little fresh air and nature.

It’s a crazy time to be doing business in China considering everything that’s going on. 🤦‍♀️ I have lots of feelings about what’s happening (and how ruinous this is for small businesses)…but still grateful for wonderful colleagues and partners that always make it productive and fun. Homeward bound… ✈️ 🇺🇸 by @gritsinnyc

Final report: Wallpaper hung - admittedly not by me. But so glad to have this project completed. Lots of lessons learned for the next project. But for now…a break. #diy #renovation #distractionfromtheworld by @gritsinnyc

Powder Room DIY Reno, Part 3: The first strip of wallpaper almost broke me. So here I sit days later…and I’ve only got one strip of wallpaper hung. Learned my lesson on peel and stick (#justdont). Decided to repaint the bead board a better color. Called in the big guns (aka a pro) for the vanity install. Now it’s just the wallpaper (and a few wall hangings) standing between me and a finished room…deep breath… #diy #bathroomreno #ihatewallpaper by @gritsinnyc

Day 2: Toilet in. Wainscot up and painted. Light fixtures up Major snag with the vanity…always has to be one. So delayed on the install. Next up…wallpaper. But a solid day today…and now I’m your gal if you need to install a toilet or a light fixture. #diy #bathroomreno #slowandsteadywinstherace🐢 by @gritsinnyc

Day 1 Attempt to Renovate my Bathroom - flooring is in (that I thankfully didn’t do), baseboards and wainscot measured, cut and installed. Today putty and paint…and install the toilet and vanity. Wish me luck! Thanks @davidg4.0 for staying to help. by @gritsinnyc

Happy 5th birthday to the happiest, wittiest, funniest and huggiest little dude there is. Gabey there’s no one quite like ya buddy and we love you so darn much! Keep beating to the rhythm of your own drum…and I’ll always be here for the ‘best part of my day!’ by @gritsinnyc

While Daddy and Gabey were at a chocolate making class, Lexi and I took a snowy ride to the @jungfraujochtopofeurope 🏔 … we may not have had the views but we had such a blast, ate a lot of chocolate, found Elsa’s ice castle, and played in the snow. #SpringBreak2024 #jungfrauregion #switzerland🇨🇭 by @gritsinnyc
