ya girl finally finished a book!!! this is the second book I’ve finished…. well for the entire year 😬 ahhhh I know!! so bad, but this slump and year has been pure chaos and reading has just not been a top priority!

however, I finished rebel witch in just a couple of days and loved it!!! I think this could truly be the end of my slump which has been going on since november of last year!! 😭

Spring is in bloom, and so are this month’s Book of the Month picks 💘🌟💐📖
@bookofthemonth #ad

I am so excited to be partnering with Book of the Month! Their May picks are perfect for a bit of spring romance. 🌷

🌟 Book of the Month is a monthly subscription box featuring new and early release titles ranging from emerging authors to highly anticipated releases. They offer a variety of genres to choose from, and if a certain month’s selections don’t interest you, you can skip it without being charged!

I knew these two books would be the perfect picks for my May reads! 🤭

📖 Our Perfect Storm by Carley Fortune
Ooooh, I’m so excited for this one!! One Golden Summer was one of my favorite reads of 2025, and I love Carley Fortune’s writing. Our Perfect Storm is a childhood friends-to-lovers romance that follows Frankie after her fiancé leaves her the morning of their wedding. Instead of letting her fully paid honeymoon go to waste, she goes with her best friend, George, hoping to repair their on-and-off friendship… literally all the makings of a 5-star read 🤭

📖 The Shippers by Katherine Center
I’ve only read one other book by Katherine Center, but I’ve heard such great things about her work, so I was excited to select this as one of my May picks! The Shippers is another childhood friends-to-lovers romance, and it takes place on a cruise ship… consider me intrigued 🤭🛳️

BOTM also has several other amazing selections to pick from this month!

If you want to join BOTM, you can use code FLORAL to get your first book for just $5, plus a free mini tote! 💖

💭 If you have BOTM, what are your picks for May? 💗✨ by @hadenbrie
