At Haides EDU, we don’t believe the chair is something to escape, we believe it’s something to earn.

Too many people enter this industry chasing six-figure incomes, complete freedom, and entrepreneurship. Those things are possible, but they’re the result of craft mastery, not the starting point.

Every great educator. Every respected barber. Every successful shop owner. Every platform artist. Every industry leader started by becoming exceptional behind the chair.

That’s the philosophy behind “Hair Design Education”.

We teach more than techniques. We teach intentional design, craftsmanship, professionalism, client experience, and the mindset required to build a career that lasts.

Our Foundations Program is where it all begins. It’s the backbone of Haides EDU and the first step for anyone serious about building a long-term career in the industry.

If you’re ready to build a career on craftsmanship, not shortcuts, we’d love to have you.

Comment “ENROLL” below and we’ll send you everything you need to know about our next Foundations Program.

Great stylists never stop expanding their craft.

@kimscissorhandzz is a hair stylist who came to us wanting to sharpen her modern men’s cuts. With three Haides classes now under her belt, she took it further with a 1:1 tailored training session built around exactly what she wanted to master. Her goals, her pace, her chair.

Bare to Bloom🍁

The leaves fall. The branches go bare.

To be the change, we have to let go, endure the cold and the darkness, and make room for what comes next.

Change means challenges, and the gift is the opportunity to grow.

The only tool used to achieve this look was the “Mizutani Acro Baby Leaf”🍃

This look was created using @mizutaniscissors.ca puffin black smith and SERENITE 5.4 inch shears

This was my cut using the @haides.education intersections theory. Creating this look was inspired by the trend of the mod cut styled in a edgy punk era. As an educator my goal is to visually, show choice of length and execute the cut by intersecting each panel to each other.

When @hxppi and @victorignvcio came through from Toronto, the Haides team didn't just host the class, we took part and experienced it.

Some people think once you're an educator, you've figured it all out. the truth is the opposite.

The more you take class and invest in your growth, the more you realize how much there still is to learn.

That’s the standard we hold ourselves to, and it's the same standard we bring into every class we teach.

You can't pour into others if you stop filling your own cup.

Each one, teach one and every one keeps learning.

Thank you to Happi and Victor for the knowledge, passion and inspiration.

SEATTLE MEETS VANCOUVER. 🇺🇸🇨🇦

@styles.by.yoshi pulled up to Haides for an exclusive masterclass.

Artist, Educator, Mizutani America representative, recognized on an international stage, and still one of the most down-to-earth people you'll ever share a floor with.

Watching Yoshi work live was a reminder of where this craft is heading: with no walls between barbering and hairstyling.

Thank you Yoshi for making the trip and pouring into our community 🤝 by @haides.education

This is what the room looks like.

No one here is pretending to have it all figured out. We’re here to understand hair, not just copy techniques.

To learn how to connect with and service real people, not just cut their hair good. To grow the right way, with people who’ve been exactly where you are right now.

A lot of barbers and stylists spend their early years struggling alone when it doesn’t have to be that way.

If you’ve been thinking about taking that first step, or even that next step HaidesEDU is where it starts.
