ALL THE WAY FROM HAWAIIIII @taiahntran @bayarea_barbell 🥳🤍
--
thank you to all of the spotters, loaders, volunteers, and to @bayarea_barbell for giving me the opportunity to compete in my first meet ever. it was an unforgettable experience, and i'm so grateful to have been able to make it work (despite moving across the ocean 2 months before my meet LOL)

thank you to @bigmaselifts_ for being my handler during this meet, and for always giving me the words of encouragement i've needed since day 1. i'm so grateful to have you be a part of my first comp and part of my pl journey 🫶

thank you to @_kevinttran for being my rock throughout this journey. from cheering me on an ocean away to taking me to the gym every day and staying by my side while i had 3 hr gym sessions, i appreciate you always for everything that you do 🫰 can't wait for us to compete on the same platform one day 🫢

last but not least, @ian.evolved aka cooch aka life coach. thank you for turning a skinny girl who looked like a hopping frog trying to deadlift into a tiny powerlifter. it's been a long time coming (me being too chicken to come out and compete), but we did it!! 🥳 through all of the "i can't do it"s and "YES U CAN"s, lots of misreading the program, and lots of crying over every little inconvenience, you stuck w me through it all and i'm so so SO grateful for you. ily cooch, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. 🤍 #teamevolved 4L 🕊️🤞

there are so many other people that i want to thank, but i can only fit so much in this tiny little post. you know who you are, and i appreciate all of you that have been a part of my journey so far.

also if you made it this far, see u at nats 2024 🤭

turn the 6 upside down that's a 9 now 🥹
placed first for the very first time and went 6/9 😅 i could make all the excuses of what could have gone wrong and why, but all i can really say is there's more work to be done.
thank you to my coach @ian.evolved for cheering me on across the ocean, and manny @mannehmethodz for taking on the task of handling me and kevin.
thank you to kevin for everything that you did to make my day to day easier, for being my rock when all i wanted to do was quit and cry out of frustration, for taking me to and from the gym, and for being my motivation to see this meet through. our first meet together was such a fun experience and i wouldn't have traded it for anything in the wrld 🌎🤍
thank you ukiyo @ukiyohawaii for an amazing first meet out here, and thank you to everyone who showed me so much love and support throughout this prep and meet day.
idk when i'll step on the platform again (long off szn incoming) but thank you all for letting me be here and giving me the space to be me 🫶 till next time 😁 by @hailstrainingarc
