POSTS STORIES REELS

💜 Domestic violence awareness doesn’t end in October, and neither does the need to show up for survivors.

In loving memory of my friend Mindy, who lost her life to domestic violence this past August, I want to continue turning awareness into action. Her memory is a reminder of why this work matters and why we can’t stop talking about it.

This November, Live Free & Dye Salon is proud to partner with Grace Smith House to support survivors and their families throughout the holiday season.

I’ll be collecting donations for three meaningful programs:

🎁 Adopt-A-Family: Gift cards that allow survivors to shop for their own families and create special holiday memories.

🧺 Food Pantry: Nonperishable food, full-sized toiletries, cleaning supplies, paper products, and diapers (especially larger sizes!).

💜 Pin-Up Program: Make a donation of any amount right here at the salon, and your name will be added to our Pin-Up Giving Board!

Whether you donate a few dollars, bring in supplies, or simply share this post, every little bit makes a difference.

I’m grateful to be able to use my salon as a place to bring people together, give back, and make a difference beyond the chair.

For Mindy. For survivors. For the families who need us.

Let’s keep showing up, keep raising awareness, and keep reminding survivors that they are not alone. 💜

📍 Stop by Live Free & Dye Salon throughout November to participate!

Cheers to 11 years ❤️ by @hairbybperry

Domestic violence affects more than the victim. It impacts families, children, friends, and entire communities.

Join us to remember those we’ve lost, honor those who have survived, and remind those still struggling that they are not alone!

We need to stand together, speak up, support one another, and keep their stories from being forgotten. Every voice matters. Every life matters. Together, we can help make a difference. 💜🦋

💜 LIGHT UP THE WALKWAY FOR MINDY 💜

Save the date! Sunday, October 11th at 7:00 PM, we’ll gather on the Highland side of the Walkway Over the Hudson to honor Mindy and stand together for Domestic Violence Awareness.

Wear purple, grab a glow stick, and join us as we light up the Walkway, walk together to the flagpole, and share a moment of silence for Mindy and all those affected by domestic violence. 💜

One light for Mindy.
One light for every survivor.
One community standing together.

✨ More details coming soon — please share and help us spread the word. 💜

Happy 6th Birthday, Live Free & Dye! 🎂✨

SIX YEARS. 🥹🧡

Six years of big dreams, beautiful hair, crazy days, hard work, laughter, friendships, growth, and so many incredible people walking through these doors.

What started as a dream has become so much more than a salon. Live Free & Dye is a little community, a safe space, a place to feel good, be yourself, laugh way too loud, and leave feeling a little more YOU. 🌿✨

To every client who has sat in our chairs, trusted us with their hair, supported our small business, referred a friend, bought a product, liked a post, shared our work, or simply cheered us on — THANK YOU. You are the reason we get to keep doing this.

And to my incredible team — thank you for bringing your talent, personalities, creativity, and hearts into this space. You make Live Free & Dye what it is. 🤎

Six years in, and I still can’t believe this is real.

Here’s to everything we’ve built, everything we’ve learned, and everything that’s still to come.

Happy 6th Birthday to Live Free & Dye Salon. 🥂
Thank you for growing with us.
Live Free. Dye Happy. ✨
