Excited to announce that I’ll be speaking at The Blueprint: First Annual Professional Development Summit, hosted by @manarawestofficial , on Saturday, October 17th, at Chapman University in SoCal!

From starting my career in banking to working at J.P. Morgan, Saturna Capital, and now serving as a Senior Vice President at Farther, my professional journey has taught me valuable lessons which I’ll be sharing with the next generation.

I am looking forward to helping students and young professionals navigate their career paths, recognize opportunities, and build the confidence to pursue their ambitions.

As someone who has dedicated much of my career to bridging the gap between faith, food and finance, I believe empowering the next generation of professionals with financial knowledge is more important than ever.

Faith. Sports. Wealth. Legacy.

Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to represent Farther Edge in Houston as a proud sponsor of The Standard Muslim Athlete Summit. It was an intimate gathering bringing together athletes, coaches, agents, executives, business professionals and community leaders.

It was a pleasure connecting with Houston Texans Azeez Al-Shaair and Ali Gaye, Sanoussi Kane of the Tennessee Titans and Egyptian basketball player Ismael Massoud, while also spending time with coaches, agents and sports executives, including longtime NBA executive Chris Wallace.

Just as meaningful was reconnecting with people who have been part of my journey for years including my longtime friend Husain Abdullah (Retired NFL Safety) and my teacher and respected community leader Dr. Altaf Husain.

Some relationships were new. Others picked up where they left off years ago.

This event was about bringing people together around faith, community, business and life beyond the game.

From a wealth-management perspective, that mission resonates deeply with the work we’re building through Farther Edge. An athletic career can create tremendous opportunity, but turning that opportunity into lasting wealth requires planning, discipline and the right people around you. Athletes deserve fiduciary guidance that puts their interests first, and Muslim athletes should have access to sophisticated financial planning and investment strategies that align with their faith and values without having to compromise either.

A special thank you to @nimrahyasmeen and the @siraat.strategies team behind The Standard for the vision, hard work and intentionality that went into pulling off such a successful event. Seeing the team recognized on stage was well deserved. Creating a space like this for Muslim athletes and the broader sports community takes tremendous effort, and I’m grateful Farther Edge had the opportunity to support it.

I also had the opportunity to spend some time with NBA legend Hakeem Olajuwon! A special moment to cap off an already meaningful trip.

As we kicked off 2026, our team at Farther has been thoughtfully building Farther EDGE, which will serve as our Sports & Entertainment division — a modern wealth platform designed for individuals with high-performance careers and complex income.

I’ve been blessed to be part of this team and to help shape Farther EDGE alongside an exceptional group of professionals. Through integrated strategy, tax-aware planning, and coordinated financial oversight, we help athletes, creators, and entrepreneurs transform peak earning years into enduring, long-term wealth.

This is just the beginning. Stay tuned.

Honored to be speaking at the Halal Expo & Summit in Chicago on Thursday, November 6th at 10AM 🕙

My session, “How Islamic Principles Protect Wealth and Guide Investors in Today’s Economy,” will explore how faith-based investing provides not just ethical guidance — but real financial resilience in uncertain times.

With over two decades in Islamic and values-based finance, I’m passionate about showing how aligning wealth with faith can empower our communities, protect families, and build lasting legacy — without compromise.

It was a true honor to speak at last night’s Wasiyah Workshop at @darul.islah — the very mosque I grew up in and where my father was one of the founding members , Alhumdullilah 🤲🏽

Being able to give back by educating our community on Islamic estate planning including wills and trusts along with halal investing at a place that holds such deep personal significance was incredibly special.

A heartfelt thank you to the Darul Islah board for the opportunity and to the esteemed Dr. Muhammad Farooq-i-Azam Malik for sharing the stage and his invaluable knowledge on creating a will. May Allah (SWT) allow us all to leave behind legacies rooted in faith, family, and foresight. 🤲🏽📜
