این یک پروژه ادیتوریال فشن است که از زبان بصری بهمن محصص و‌ جهان رازآلود آثارش الهام گرفته است.

این پروژه به‌جای بازآفرینی مستقیم آثار مشخص، از عناصر تکرارشونده در آثار محصص بهره می‌گیرد: سطوح زمخت و بافت‌دار نقاشی‌های او، نگاه‌های منفک و بی‌احساس فیگورها، و تنش میان سکون و بی‌قراری که در بسیاری از آثارش حضور دارد.

“You Are the Spectator” is a fashion editorial inspired by the visual language of Bahman Mohassess.

Rather than recreating specific works, the project draws from recurring elements in Mohassess’s practice: the rough, textured surfaces of his paintings, the detached gaze of his figures, and the tension between stillness and unease that inhabits much of his work.

As suggested by the title, “You Are the Spectator,” the viewer is invited to enter this dialogue and become part of the experience.⁩⁩⁩ by @nicki_mhmdn

وقتی می‌خوام یه پروژه‌ی کانسپچوال رو استارت بزنم، برمی‌گردم به واژه‌هایی که ذهن خودم رو درگیر کرده.
برای این پروژه رفتم سراغ کلمه‌ی «تعلّق».
اینکه ما برای اینکه به یک فضا تعلق داشته باشیم، چقدر خودمون رو پنهان می‌کنیم و چقدر سعی می‌کنیم شبیه اون فضا بشیم؛ با وجود اینکه روحیاتمون باهاش فرق داره.
جوری که رفتار، تفکرات و حال‌وهوای اون فضا، مثل میله‌های زندان، دور تا دور بدنمون رو می‌گیره و برامون قفس می‌کشه.
ولی مسئله اینه که این پنهان کردن، ابدی نیست. نمی‌تونی تا ابد شخصیتت، روحیاتت و احساساتت رو خفه کنی؛ نمی‌تونی همه‌چیز رو توی خودت نگه داری. یه روزی می‌رسه که فشار این احساسات روی روانت سنگینی می‌کنه و باعث می‌شه واکنش نشون بدی؛ اون‌وقت تمام خطوط عمودی و صاف رو می‌شکنی.

ROKHSAREH COLLECTION

This collection symbolizes the various profound meanings of the old Persian word Rokhsareh. As is well known, its primary meaning is “face” or “countenance.” Its other meaning, however, lies at the very heart of the inspiration behind this collection: “the collective characteristics of a sediment.”

Throughout history, the human face and its expressions have been regarded as reflections of the defining characteristics of human character and emotion at any given moment. Yet a simple question remains: To what extent does the face reveal the accumulated layers—the sediments—of a human personality?

This mystery finds expression in the Rokhsareh collection.
