This is a bit of a more vulnerable post than usual but today I was journaling about the past 2 years and I felt like I needed to share SOME of what I wrote.
I have been thinking and reflecting a lot, feeling a bit lost and uncertain which is totally normal and okay.
I guess I have been grieving a bit of my “old life” which is coming up from feeling a constant instability that I can’t seem to shake for the past 2 years. Emotionally, financially, physically… Moving abroad is not for the weak.

The best way to describe it is that it’s like a tornado of really high highs and very low lows. So I have been the absolute happiest I’ve ever been but then the lows are the lowest I’ve ever been. And it’s genuinely exhausting.

I don’t regret where I am today, and in fact I am super proud of the person I’ve become and extremely blessed with the people in my life here.

But I’ve been finding myself looking and waiting on signs for clarity.

Things that I’ve been reminding myself of is that #1 I am exactly where I am meant to be. #2 I am literally 24. Chill.

I think I simply need to remind myself of my 2022 theme of “deixa’t anar” and trusting Gods timing and plan for me during these times.

I guess from this I hope I can help someone feel a little less alone in these feelings and also show that not everything is as it’s portrayed on social media! 💌 by @haleighdouglass
