I am a wife and a mom. I love thrifting, decorating, working in the yard and being at home spending time with my family.

Happy Wednesday y’all! The tree adding continues. I’ve added a couple of smaller prelit trees, making small spaces look so much more cozier!
Did you see Waffles drooling,, he was waiting for me to take him out. 😂
Do your pups do that when they need to go out, or is this just a lab/hound thing??😂
Wheeler doesn’t do it, if he has to go really bad I can’t even get the door open good before his little arse bolts!😂

Y’all,,, Please,,, Always remember, no matter what you are going through, no matter your battles, no matter what you have been told,,, our Lord and Savior is the true intervention! Always continue to pray and if you really listen, He will show you the way!! He will never leave you, he loves you and I love you!!

Much love,

Even a scruffy little tree with just some lights can completely transform a room! Don’t you agree? This corner looks so cozy that even Waffles doesn’t want to leave!
No, he’s just being nosy watching the guys working on the house across the street.😂
The last time I showed y’all, there was only a clear lot with a green port a potty sitting on it. That is still there, it’s just hiding behind my magnolia tree😂

Sitting here feeling so grateful and so very thankful! God is SO VERY GOOD isn’t he!

Much love,

I’ve put out a tree,,, that’s a start!

Y’all, we finally got some cooler weather. My sister and I went to Hattiesburg Friday to take my boys to lunch and visit. Then we left and went thrifting. I got a couple things that I am tickled over and they went into my China cabinet.
It was in the mid to upper 80’s during the day, on the way home that evening it had dropped 20 something degrees and by Saturday morning it was 49. Since then, 40’s at night and 70’s during the day. I am loving it!

It’s the little things right?!

Much love,
Lynnette

I was looking for something in my closet and came across two silk scarves that a friend had given me several years ago. I haven’t worn them in a while but as I was looking at them, I wondered how they would look on my table as a runner?? It’s fall, they scream fall. I think it works.

BUT, Y’all, can we talk about Taylor Swift’s new single Patient Zero! I cannot get this song out of my head; It’s like it’s on repeat 24/7!

Have you heard it yet? Have you seen the music video?

The lyrics use the term metaphorically to describe being the first person infected by a toxic ex-partner’s behavior, warning a new girlfriend who reaches out for guidance.

It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the chart dated October 10, 2026, ending the historic 24-week reign of Ella Langley’s Choosin’ Texas.

If you have heard the song, and have seen the music video, I would love your thoughts on it. There are so many theories floating around.

Like the book clubs out there, we need to start a song club so we can get together and pull apart and decipher the meaning of the lyrics,,, over wine of course!😂🍷

Let me know what you think.
Wishing you a beautiful day!

Much love,

My sister and I got out Friday for a bit and went to one of our favorite thrift stores and while I didn’t find as much, I did hit the jackpot!

I found a 1950s Vintage Glazed Stoneware Pitcher: by Marcrest USA old farmhouse, water pitcher in chocolate brown raised pattern Daisy Dot. They had 26.50 on the sticker. When I got to the counter, he looked at it and then he looked at the price they had it listed for and said oh wow,, hummm. My sister and I looked at each other, He knew they had under priced it! I scored big time on this piece!🙌

Have you ever come across a piece and knew that it was under priced and said to yourself…. This is too good to be true. Let me get this and get out of here before they realize what they did.😂😂

We did get a little rain Sunday afternoon but it is still hot and humid.

I hope y’all have an awesome Tuesday!

Anyone else Twilight fans??

It’s still hot over here and still no rain,, but there is always tomorrow!😂

I hope you’re enjoying your weekend!
I’ve been doing some much needed deep cleaning. I find that when I have a lot on my mind I like to stay busy. Do you get that?

Happy October y’all!

Hot and humid here today but they say rain coming in over the next couple of days and a little more seasonal temps here. I certainly hope so cause I can’t take too much more of this heat!

Wishing y’all a great evening!

My sister keeps telling me that I need to get in front of the camera more, not always behind it, and just do real life cause that’s what people really want to see.
Well, yesterday I decided I would work more on getting out of my comfort zone and talk to y’all and just carry on a conversation.

It didn’t go well, it got cut short.

I started to not post it, but since she said “people want to see you, your every day normal, so they can relate to you more”.

Well,,,, here it is y’all! I apologize in advance😂😂

Yall remember the reel I did on Monday of the hutch? Well, after I edited it, I started fixing supper and a few minutes later I started smelling something, like something was burning. I looked all around and didn’t see anything.
I looked over at the hutch and saw I left the candles burning,,,,, and then it clicked!!!
Went over to blow them out, and there it was, this quarter size black spot!🤦‍♀️
I tried to wash it off, didn’t work. So I did the only thing left I knew to do, I lit a smell good candle on the island, out in the open,,, sprayed Lysol throughout.
Hubby came home from work none the wiser!🙌😂😂

Have y’all ever done anything like that?
I would love to know,, come on now,, spill it!!

Watch where you light your candles people!

Much love,
