Justin Trapp, @half_full_ceramics is going to be exhibiting his fantastically colorful pots at @claymakersarts during the tour. His work focuses on functional tableware. Justin enjoys the conversation between maker, material, and user that largely goes unspoken. He sees working in multiples as a process that builds upon an initial idea and always seeks refinement but never perfection. He finds that process informs where the next iteration of his work goes. Check out more about him and the 24 other participating artists and studios at durhampotterytour.com. There you will find maps and you can plan your route. by @half_full_ceramics

Last year I won @alamancecommunitycollege Small Business Center pitch competition.

It was my second time going through the process and I'm glad I did. I was the first person to win the full grant amount!

I learned a lot about myself and my business and I can't wait to put that funding to good use.

With no shortage of continuous work and luck I'll have an update by summer about the next phase of my studio!

In the meantime....LOOK, I MADE THE COVER!
