I do this work because I believe in what happens when someone finally feels held.
Not rushed.
Not judged.
Just safe enough to exhale.

There were moments when giving up would have been easier.
Quieter.
More sensible.

But Hammock Harmonies has shown me that I can trust myself.

These sessions didn’t just build a business.
They rebuilt my relationship with myself.
They reminded me of my softness, my steadiness, my ability to stay with something that matters deeply.

Every hammock holds a story.
Every sound settles a nervous system that’s been bracing for too long.
And every time I show up, I’m reminded why I chose this life.

I’m deeply grateful for this work.
For what it offers others, and for what it’s quietly given me.

Because my son is watching.
And I want him to see a woman who backs herself.
Who doesn’t walk away from her calling when it gets hard.
Who leads with devotion, courage, and love.

This isn’t just what I do.
It’s what I chose to stay with. 💜 by @hammockharmonies

This is my grandmother, Veronica. A Glasgow-born, mixed-race WOMAN, with seven children grandchildren, great grandchildren and Even great great grandchildren !!!
celebrating her 90th birthday doing something that has moved people for generations: singing. 🤍

She graced so many stages through the 60s, 70s, 80s and even the 90s. She rarely sings these days, so this moment is a precious treat.

If you’ve ever wondered where my passion for singing and music comes from… it’s her.

That beautiful, God-given talent, without a single vocal lesson. I’m so grateful to have inherited even a smidgen of it. It’s in my bloodline. It’s in my lineage. It runs through my veins.

Gran, I’ve watched this about a hundred times already. Your facial expressions, the beautiful nuances in your voice, the way your vibrato flows so effortlessly. Every time, I find something else to love.

I absolutely adore you. You are, and always will be, my inspiration. With every song that leaves my lips, I carry a little of you.

Happy 90th birthday, my beautiful Gran. What a privilege to be your granddaughter. 🤍 by @hammockharmonies
