This photo shoot on our one year anniversary kind of happened by accident… the first time I asked Ralph if he was interested in doing a photo shoot with me the timing wasn’t right and he said no. @meganjaepearl and I had mainly connected on Instagram up until this point we are originally were supposed to do a shoot this summer before hand and never got around to it. And I had been putting this shot off all summer due to the rash on my face. We finally got it scheduled for September 20 when I realize that that was my one year anniversary and asked Ralph if he would join me if only to watch. He ended up Getting into it and had so much fun! Megan and I have developed a friendship, and currently are working on a collaborative offering for a private sensual photo shoot experience. The whole experience felt like such a beautiful way to connect and celebrate our love! 🥰🌹🙏🏻 by @hanasface

My Story… Part 1.
I dropped out of college when I was 20 years old. I couldn’t pick a major outside of drinking and boys. I felt stagnant still living at my parents house in my hometown. A sign driving up the canyon caught my eye that said ski jobs. The only job I was offered was a full-time live in mid mountain restaurant. The choice became obvious to drop out of school. I didn’t even go to my finals mainly because I was too scared to ask for the time off. That winter was wild and completely changed my life. The dorm rooms housed 16 boys and four girls… I fell in love with at least half of them. I got in so much trouble that I wouldn’t have dare to show my face again for a second season. I experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. And had my mind opened to a new way of living. I can admit now that a big part of my partying was to fill a void. I was seeking for meaning and worthiness. I ended up working at ski resorts for 11 winters! A big part of me was so proud of my simple Dirt Bag lifestyle. I subconsciously thought that money and success were bad evil. I was proud to have no ambitions beyond The Next line I would Ski. Or party to attend! They tried to kick me out of my own birthday party for being too drunk. I’ve had a few of these shots as my phone background and I practiced sending love to my sweet, sweet drunk, wasted, lost little inner child. 😇🙏🏻🎉😜 #altaloverunsdeep #dirtbagstateofmind #shadowwork by @hanasface

Let’s talk about the witch wound

I’m no expert on this subject, and I won’t pretend to be. From what I’ve heard/gathered in olden times the women who were considered witches may have been more like what we would call healers, gypsies, mystics and herbalists. They may have worked with energies that were not apparent to the physical eye, and instead of trying to understand them, the square Muggle towns people shunned them instead!

I’ve been told by a past life reader that I’ve been a ‘witch’ in several lifetimes, including one in Salem, Massachusetts where I was put on trial and hung.

I’ve had friends in this lifetime who consider themselves witches. I’m not necessarily one of them, although I like many witchy things, and I love the idea of getting witchy. You can find me with some Crystals, candles, incense, deck of spirit cards any day of the week. I believe in energy, and the power of thought.

Where I think people can get confused is associating witches with darkness, Demons or things not of the highest good.

Myself, and the other witchy people that I know want to use energy and things unseen for the highest Good. I’ve been taught that every single time I’m calling in higher dimensional Beings to always specify of the highest frequency.

Anyways, I feel like I have another tangent on the tip of my tongue about the light in the dark. But I’d love to hear your thoughts, and if anyone out there considers themselves a witch! 🧙🏻‍♀️ by @hanasface

Halloween, and the spirit of Halloween has got me thinking about the masks and costumes that we put on each day.

A lot of people used to assume that I’m a big Halloween girl , and I would correct them by saying actually I prefer to be the only one dressed up.

Back in my ski and party days, you could find me on a random day, rocking an American flag jacket, tall T, sequins, or basically anything I wanted to give the world the outside view of how fun and free I wanted them to believe I was.

By this point, I’ve given away many costumes and Exuberant items, but I do still have a handful of sparkly jackets if anyone ever needs to borrow them! I don’t seek attention from my outfit so much anymore in the way that I used to.

I remember several Halloween’s in my 20s that I used as an excuse to buy costumes that I wanted anyways! One year I was Soulja Boy and got a flat Brimmed hat with a crown 👑 on it a huge bling necklace, double-decker extra extra large tall T-shirts, and rocked that outfit in different pieces for the next several years. My nickname in Telluride was gangster Hanna. I knew all the words to Drake and Kanye songs and wanted everyone to think I was hard-core. I would ski with a do rag underneath my helmet.

One Halloween in Missoula, I was a raver for the costume. I got a rainbow tutu, furry leg warmers. Wore pigtails and handed out real vitamins to very suspicious students at a law school Halloween party. I’ve never really been to a proper rave and feel like I kind of missed my window, but the elements of love, generosity and Dancing would probably resonate!

The following year, a very patient boyfriend wore matching fairy costumes with me. I decked him out as a space galaxy fairy which was an excuse to buy an outfit I wanted anyways! And I was a tie-dye fairy! 🧚🏻‍♀️

Once I fashioned a cardboard box with suspenders to be a car and dressed myself as a dog from go dog go! 🐕

My phone is full of gorgeous pictures that I would love to share with y’all! But I often don’t post because I feel like I don’t have anything poetic to say that relates to the pics! 📸

I could tell you all about my day, or about the day we did the shoot. Or continue to tell you about how much a love photo shoots and how they have helped me to get more comfortable in my skin even when they don’t get posted. Or just go on and on about how enjoyable and encouraging @meganjaepearl is to work with!

I’m hoping I come up with the words to say, or decide that not ever post needs some kind of deep meaning. I hope to show up more fully here and in life! And I I hope that you enjoy!! Has anyone else ever felt this way? Any tips to find the words and message and get them flowing?

The month of September, mainly felt like a big transition portal from living at my boyfriend‘s house to both of us moving into mine. We had a beautiful yard sale and watched old possessions Find new homes. I threw a Clothing Swap and a massage party! I went to a Singing Night, Co-lead a somatic healing workshop, gave a Couples Massage lesson and even got a massage myself! ☺️ by @hanasface

Today Mark‘s Four Years Sober💥from alcohol and smoking weed! I often forget to celebrate this achievement because at least as of lately it doesn’t really feel like doing much… Mainly just some things that I’m not doing! I’m remembering to celebrate because at least at the beginning this really was not easy! And it is a huge accomplishment. There was a time where I had very an unhealthy relationship with these substances. I would make up rules and games for myself like only drink if it’s free, and then finding myself at every event that might be serving booze. I have many stories that I’m not proud of that. I’ll keep to myself for now, but I’m happy to share when asked. If you or anyone that you know is struggling with addiction I see you and I honor you! I’m here for questions/ support around sober curiosity! I hardly use the word sober anymore and part of me is ready to release that word from my identity. Although I did very much need to identify with that word in the beginning, I have a very black-and-white mindset and knowing that drinking and smoking was not an option, helped make it an easy decision. Anyways I hope this reminds you to celebrate yourself today! 🎉🥳🥂
