![Weste ILONA [DesignnÀhen]
I donât find much time for sewing these days, but when Monika @sew4me.de first shared impressions from her latest pattern - waistcoat Ilona - I immediately knew I wanted to sew it!
I used a suiting fabric made from wool which is light to mid-weight.
I made the pattern in a size 34 at the top, graded to 36 at the waist and hips. I also replaced the bust point and raised the waistline. Thanks to the great instructions, the adjustments were very was to make!
Iâm planning to make a matching set out of it. What do you think works best, a pair of trousers or a skirt?

![Dress Delphi [pattern test]
Iâm super excited to share this dress Iâve recently made! Itâs the #sewintothatdelphi dress by @sew.into.that that has just been released đ
I was very lucky to test this pattern beforehand as it was a very fun project and the finished garment turned out to be one of my favorite dresses this summer!
the #delphidress is a neckholder style dress with a deep (but not too deep to reveal the bra) keyhole detail in the back and different length options. I went for a length in between the midi and knee length due to my fabric. The dress (or top) does not require any zipper oder buttons as the only closure is the neck tie that you can tie into a beautiful bow at the back.
You also have the option to add an elastic tongue waist or waist ties but I decided to wear the dress with a belt i already had.
For this dress I chose a fabric that has been sitting in my stash for several years desperately waiting for its moment. Thanks to the minimalistic seams in this pattern, the Delphi dress is perfect for patterned fabric and border prints. As the fabric is sheer, I added a white viscose fabric as lining. I sewed the two fabrics together at the sides and top (except the hem) and then treated them as one.
Thatâs a lot of details for this dress đ€ what do you think, should I make a maxi dress version as well?

![Skirt Camille [pattern test 2]
As I told you in my last post, Iâve been a bit obsessed over the new skirt pattern by @sew4me.de and made a total of 4 versions đ€
For this one I bought the fabric with the intention to sew exactly this skirt and Iâm ver happy with the result!
Itâs a bit heavier viscose twill fabric with a great drape.
Iâve made a size 36 in the third length option again.

![Skirt Camille [pattern test]
Happy Release day to Monika @sew4me.de đ
Today she released her latest pattern, #sew4mecamille the perfect staple skirt pattern for the whole year!
I was lucky to try the pattern in advance and I made a total of 4 skirts đ€
For this first one I used a soft cotton fabric and made a size 36 in the third length option.
Itâs a very quick project also doable for beginner sewists, as Monikaâs instructions are very detailed and packed with helpful tips.
Would you like to see the other skirts I made? âșïž

![Tie dress No. 2 [pattern test]
Sara @yoursara_k recently released the #sewingtherapytiedress2 and I was very excited to be on the testing team đ
I made mine using the wrap front style (there is also a button down front) and the amazing long sleeves. For the skirt I went with the midi version.
I used a viscose crepe and made a size 4 workout and alterations.
I genuinely love this pattern, I think it is very comfy to wear, extremely versatile and looks good on basically anyone!
Like the #sewingtherapytie dress No. 1, you can tie it in may different ways and mix and match all the elements of the dress.

![Zoe half zip [pattern test]
Happy pattern release @michelledesignco đ
When @michelledesignco was working on the updated #mdczoehalfzip and looking for testers I knew I had to apply. Iâve been eying the original version for months but the updated versions has so many new features!!
Luckily, I got to test the Zoe right before Christmas.
I chose a quilted sweater knit fabric that is very soft on the inside and made the hip length version. Iâve added tiny buttonholes in the hem to add a elastic drawstring but ordered the wrong size of elastic so Iâll have to add it later.
For the sleeves, I chose the shorted length and added elastic to it.
The Zoe half zip is an elevated comfy sweater pattern for woven or slightly stretchy fabrics. Itâs great for fleece sweaters, windbreakers or any other comfy sweater.
I definitely want to make a second version using color blocking!

![Tlaloc coat [pattern test]
I made myself a new wool jacket for winter âșïž
I was lucky to test Juliaâs @telabeja latest pattern, the #tlalocpattern đ
Unfortunately, I was sick and couldnât finish before the pattern release last week, but I finally managed to get photos from my finished garment âșïž
I made the short version (version A) with the sleeves cuffs with elastic.
I also added elastic to the hem. For the pockets and the collar I used a decorative blanket stich rather than bias binding. The inside is neatly finished with bias tape.
The pattern came together very quickly(except the blanket stitch) and the instructions were great to follow along! I love the attention Julia @telabeja pays to details, such as the neat finish on the inside and the different versions included.
I was able to squeeze my crop jacket out of 70x150cm of woolen fabric.
I love the finished garment and enjoyed working on it so much! Thank you @telabeja for giving me the opportunity to participate in the pattern test đ„°đ
