@lafayetteanticipations unveils Mark Leckey: AS ABOVE SO BELOW, on view until 20 July 2025 in Paris.

Conjuring the ancient dictum that “what is above is like what is below,” Leckey transforms the Fondation Galeries Lafayette into a labyrinth of ecstatic thresholds.

Bus shelters, motorway billboards, medieval icons, and rave-era videos become shimmering portals, linking the cosmic and the curbside, the visible and the invisible.

Across immersive soundscapes and flickering screens, the British artist revisits moments when ordinary places cracked open—when a bridge, a lamppost, or a fairground ride pulsed with otherworldly charge.

Medieval animism meets smartphone sorcery, suggesting a present in which every object is secretly alive.

$@davidzwirner presents Huma Bhabha: Distant Star, on view from 13 June to 26 July 2025 in Paris. In a space steeped in quiet intensity, Bhabha summons a universe of ruin and resilience through six haunting sculptures and a suite of ink-and-collage drawings. At the heart of the exhibition stands Distant Star (2025), a rust-hued cast-iron sentinel that watches with solemn, timeworn grace. Around it, fractured figures carved from cork, clay, and salvaged materials evoke relics from an alien archaeology—scarred, skeletal, and eerily human. Bhabha’s hooded portraits, layered atop her own photographs, channel medieval saints and contemporary silhouettes alike. With collaged eyes staring directly outward, these figures seem to warn, witness, and endure. Visceral, prophetic, and uncannily alive, Distant Star is Bhabha at her most mythic—where entropy meets icon, and the monstrous becomes sacred. ❤️‍🔥 Discover more curated spots with Hani. Located in the Molitor building, the newly reopened apartment-atelier of famed architect Le Corbusier offers a rare glimpse into his personal and professional life. After two years of meticulous restoration, the Fondation Le Corbusier has made this iconic penthouse accessible to the public once again.

This 240m² duplex, where Le Corbusier lived and worked from 1934 until his death in 1965, showcases his groundbreaking approach to modern architecture. Key features include a spacious living area with large glass walls, an open-plan design, and a roof terrace that reflects his vision of integrating nature into urban living. Visitors can explore the atelier where Le Corbusier painted, characterized by its celestial vault and exposed brick and stone walls, as well as his personal study, a wooden sanctuary surrounded by storage compartments.

Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2016, the apartment provides a comprehensive look at Le Corbusier's innovative use of materials such as glass, wood, and aluminum. The restoration aimed to preserve the apartment's 1964 state, highlighting the evolution of his architectural style.

Open to the public on Saturdays, the apartment-atelier invites visitors to experience firsthand the creativity and visionary urban planning of one of the 20th century's most influential architects.
