ATTENTION FLORIDA ART & NATURE LOVERS!

“HAL STOWERS: Ecological Artist — A SHORELINE LEGEND!”

We are pleased to offer SIX different Hal Stowers Authentic, First Edition, First Printing, Vintage, Original Commemorative Posters for purchase now beginning at $160.00 each!

The images on the Posters capture the spirit of shoreline settings that many of us enjoy today. Each Poster was issued for an historic event or celebration, and printed under the artist’s direction from an original Hal Stowers acrylic painting, watercolor, hand colored etching/aquatint, or monotype/mixed media piece.

Hal Stowers and his wife, BJ, have been active in the art and environmental worlds since the early 1970s, striving to protect fragile shorelines and wetland habitats along the Gulf coast of Florida and beyond. Through Hal’s paintings, etching/aquatints, lithographs, monotypes and monumental stainless steel sculptures — BJ’s writings, documentation, videos and photos — and together with their co-authored HAL STOWERS & The Art of LIFE BLENDING coffee table book — this happy couple have been positively blending art and protecting the environment for almost six decades!

Here is a list of the six posters that are available for purchase, which correspond with the included images. Individual posts will follow with more info and more images.

🖼️ VINTAGE FRAME RESTORATION & CANVAS REPAIR COMPLETED! 🙌

A vintage frame with a portrait of a client’s mother needed serious attention so our owner Sarah pulled out her magic bag of restoration supplies to fix this one!

She first fixed all the split corners, filled in all the missing pieces, refinished the entire frame surface, brought the nameplate plaque back to life, and finally repaired the hole in the canvas, with end painting to complete it all!
Truly an amazing change from the aged piece to this shining new one!

Our client was thrilled with the results plus this restoration work was a better value than replacing with a new frame.
We always strive to keep the original pieces together too.

Amazing results are what you will receive with every one of our framing projects!
Plan a visit to our shop & gallery soon with your treasured artwork.

Greetings from Florida, The Sunshine State! 🌞

We had fun with this colorful and informative Florida fabric piece! Once mounted on a board, we floated it & surrounded it with @crescentbrands mat boards with lifts all around. A vintage automobile instrument panel framed up!

So many fun items are brought to our shop and this one is super cool: a vintage instrument panel from a 1930s automobile!

Our client wanted a nice display so we found a leather mat board to mount the panel within, and a very tall @larsonjuhl black frame kept it all secure!
A classy look for a very unique piece!

Plan a visit soon to our shop & gallery with anything you’d like to frame and we will create something great!

A tranquil forest scene to enjoy!

We really like how this painting on canvas turned out and the framing choices are spot on! First we kept a border around the image to show the irregular edges, then added a silver fillet to the rich fabric mat board, both from @larsonjuhl . To mimic the water, we picked this great @romamoulding frame and made sure to keep that pattern rolling on all of the corners. All is protected by @truvueglazing museum glass for the ultimate protection and viewing pleasure!

Let us help create stunning frames for all of your special artwork!
