Just trying to get ONE nice photo…is that really too much to ask? 😂💀

The reality behind the Instagram-worthy moments is usually a lot less picture perfect.

At least all those workouts and wellness journey mean I’ve got the energy to keep up with the chaos…even if I can’t get her to stand still for a photo 😂

*disclaimer this is my personal journey and results cannot be guaranteed

Mums, if KPop Demon Hunters is on the Christmas list, you’re going to want to see this 👀💜!

We popped into @entertainer_toys in Birmingham’s @bullring where they have an ENTIRE dedicated KPop Demon Hunters area - which will be there for the next 6 months😍🙌🏻! There is also plenty of photo ops!

If you’ve got a little Rumi, Mira or Zoey fan at home, there’s plenty to get them excited about this Christmas🎁

Consider this your reminder to get ahead of the Christmas shopping before the most wanted bits disappear 👀!

Who’s got a KPop Demon Hunters obsessed little one? 💜

A little bit spooky, a little bit magical and a whole lot of Halloween fun! 🖤🎃✨

We had the loveliest time at The Enchanted Ball at @minidonington. Think Halloween magic, dressing up, dancing, a Woodland Witch and plenty of spooky-season fun!

It was such a lovely one-off experience and a brilliant way to celebrate Halloween with the little ones. 🪄

More of this kind of magic, please!

Would your little ones love an enchanted ball? 👀

POV: you get on with your life and then randomly remember you’ve lost EIGHT STONE?! 😭😂

Like…that’s an entire person. Where did they go?! 💀🎷

Sometimes I genuinely don’t think my brain has caught up with how much has changed.

8 stone down and still not over it 🥹

Anyone else ever have those random moments where your own progress catches you off guard? 👀👇

I didn’t do all this just to be a smaller version of myself🖤

I did it to keep up with her. To run 10Ks. To join in, make memories and say yes to things without constantly thinking about what my body could or couldn’t do.

The weight loss is amazing, but getting to LIVE my life differently? That’s the real win🥹

And if you’re on your own journey, remember there’s so much more to celebrate than the number on the scales. 🖤

🧸🧺 A teddy bears’ picnic at @minidonington? How cute is this?!

We headed to Mini Donington for a BEARY special teddy bears’ picnic, and it was such a sweet little experience for the children🥹💛

If you love finding fun things to do with little ones, Mini Donington is definitely one to keep on your radar! Next up is their Enchanted Ball which we are VERY excited about - this is sold out but keep your eye out for more seasonal events 👀✨

Did your little one bring their favourite teddy along? 🧸👇

Days with my mini me are always the best, and we have thoroughly enjoyed the Halloween season ❤️✨

Mrs Gooseygander at @bluebell_dairy was so so wonderful with Little and helped choose her perfect wand 🪄✨ she really wanted a yellow ribbon but was in the Dragonclaw house which meant a blue one. She explained this to Little in a way she could understand but also very kindly also gave us a yellow ribbon to take home and add later 🥹✨

If you’re going to pose in a pumpkin house then why not hold a pumpkin too 🎃

Endless photo opportunities in the Pumpkin Village at @bluebell_dairy and handy to know - they have put posts in which can be used as a selfie station 🫶🏻

The tough wizard tournament was so much fun we went twice.

Tip: if your child is younger or a little shy but would like to take part, I highly recommend going to the late afternoon slot. There were only 4 children at this one and each got a part they could do and it helped Little feel more confident at volunteering to take part 💪🏻✨

The best day with Little making Halloween memories ❤️🎃

☀️ Have you seen the giant Sun at @derbycathedral yet?!

Helios by @lukejerramartist has landed at Derby Cathedral, sponsored by @vaillant.uk, and it’s only here until 31st October! 🌞✨

It’s absolutely massive and seeing the detail of the Sun up close is pretty incredible, but there’s more to explore than just the giant artwork.

There’s a lovely area for children too, with information about the solar system, books, jigsaws and arts and crafts 🪐📚🎨

Little got stuck into making a collage and told me it was Saturn 🥹🪐 Honestly, I love seeing where their little imaginations take them!

📍 Derby Cathedral
📅 Until 31st October 2026

If you’re looking for something a bit different to do with the kids over half term, this is well worth a visit!

Save this for your Derby days out list 💛
