The biggest game changer I never wanted to be apart of- and I wouldn’t change it for a single thing. I never wanted motherhood (here come the “kids are blessings) well yea, they’re also expensive tiny little emotional terrorist with unhinged emotions. I never saw myself being someone’s mother, so much so I feared I wouldn’t be able to truly love my son like a “good mom” would. I went through nine months fearing I’d be emotionally disconnected and that I’d made a huge mistake, especially when things ended with his father. This wasn’t right. Baaaaaaaaabyyyyy- when I tell you- I love that boy so much it makes me unequivocally sick. I’m obsessed. Although I still have no idea what I’m doing half the time- hes taught me love and patience.. he’s forced me to look at what’s really important in life. Now— I’m not having anymore- but Ezra baby- I love you and thank you.

How the hell is this my fault?? How the hell does the English speaking parent get blamed for the lack of Spanish knowledge happening?? Now I have no choice but to learn and use Spanish consistently. I’m annoyed but up for the task I guess.

Is your household bilingual?

I wasn’t allowed to celebrate Halloween as a kid outside of Ofrendas of my friends houses. Honestly I’m still not a huge fan of it outside of the Mexican culture but I do enjoy seeing the joy in my kids face dressing up and embodying the character. This year I even carved a pumpkin for the first time. I can’t say I’m really a fan of carving produce and letting it sit out buuuuut it was cool to do with my kid.

I know that hearing No is only going to make the yes feel absolutely amazing but I’d be lying if said I wasn’t absolutely annoyed and frustrated. But I guess I better get comfortable and lock in. #rant #no #adulthood by @harlems.point.of.view

Like let’s be for freaking real. I’m not above compliments, I do love them. However there is a line between compliments and lack of substance in anything other than what I look like. And honestly it’s cringe. By the fourth time you’ve told me how good I look I’m starting to look at you crazy. Especially if this is how every conversation goes. Anyone else feel this way?

Nah we use our words over bro. We say how we feel over here. You can be mad but what we’re not going to do is shut down excessively. Let’s talk boop.

I need other people to hear wtf goes on in my city sometimes. This past week has sounded a lot like a Netflix special and on top of everything else it’s Domestic Violence awareness month….

Morning motivation. At least if you gonna do it- DO IT! No more half assignments. Go hard in the paint or go home. I’m tired of bad liars, like yall clearly need a pep talk so here it is.

Auntie needs a translator. 😭 “Packed up?” Whaaaaaaaaat??

Have I officially hit that generations where I have no idea what’s going on underneath my age group? Yall- I didn’t even respond because I didn’t know wtf he was saying and all I heard was an excuse anyways. But NOW I WANNA KNOW.
