AI VISUAL DISCLAIMER: This video uses AI-generated visuals to depict real events. People may not look exactly the same — this is a visual illustration of what took place.
Everybody knows Mutah Beale @mutahbeale was part of the Outlawz, alongside Tupac Shakur.
Before we ever met in person, Mutah and I spoke for weeks on the phone and built a real connection. We eventually invited him to a youth event in Berkeley called Generation M.
At the event, he spoke about his conversion and his journey in Islam, with the intention of inspiring the youth to do good and move with purpose.
After that, he invited us to his home during Ramadan — his second Ramadan. So I rolled out with @tarckyshakee @laalsaab and @haachiebeatz to so cal to hangout with Mu for a few days during Ramadan. That visit was also the first time we met Muzamil Outlaw (Napoleon’s blood brother) and @h_ryda_bmr
.
While we were there, we kept trying to pay for things. Iftar, groceries for suhoor — every time something came up, we’d try to cover it.
But he took trying to pay for the food to another level.
From an Islamic perspective, it made sense. He wanted the barakah — the blessing — of hosting his guests.
The rest… you’ll see in the video.
