🕷️🕷️❤️❤️ by @hartkehaus

One point of personal pride in being involved at @thecotillion is that the space once had @dollyparton grace the stage (1968). Out of all the acts that have gone through that sacred space, Dolly is probably the one I have talked about the most. Thank you Dolly for being the light that guided so many of us throughout the years. The way you just did the work, without needing applause or attention is something that always deeply resonated with me, and the way I was brought up by the elders in my family, many of which were farmers, grew up in poverty, and carried with them a very similar outlook on life. Everything you spoke about was familiar to me in some way. You’re one of the most brilliant minds of our time, and we’re all gonna miss you greatly. 💔💔💔💔💔 by @hartkehaus

North High Spring 1994 | 35mm | Pentax k1000 | Developed & printed in the North High darkroom | Found in a box today by @hartkehaus

Exactly 17 years and one day ago we pushed out an early iteration of the Lush Life zine. I found this unpacking a box today and it felt serendipitous. A gentle reminder from the universe that it’s time to get back to my roots, to reality. And damn that’s a good feeling. If we haven’t talked in a while hit me up. ❤️ by @hartkehaus
