POSTS STORIES REELS

I grew up in Selva di Val Gardena with my beloved grandmother, my brother, and our wonderful parents. My family lives above our shop, so woodcarvings and welcoming visitors have always been part of everyday life.

My grandfather founded the shop more than 50 years ago. After his early passing, my dear mum became its heart and soul. ❤️ @claudiasenoner

She taught me to love antiques and handmade objects, to value culture, and to care about the traditions and stories behind the things we keep.

I went on to study arts communication in Milan and worked as a curator and project manager in contemporary art. For years, I wanted to bring my love of vintage objects together with my heritage. I had been dreaming of @hausundgretel for a long time, but hadn’t quite found the courage to begin.

Then I discovered an extraordinary archive of folk art made here in Val Gardena. It gave me the confidence to take that first step, and I can’t wait to see where this journey leads.

I feel incredibly lucky to have found these pieces, and even luckier to share them with you. Thank you for being here, I hope you’ll follow along. by @hausundgretel
