TBH, managing projects of ANY size is kind of our bread and butter, and creating a great experience for our clients is a non-negotiable....like the audio says....because we love it so much. Big plans, big transformations, and a crew that knows how to make it all happen.💪🛠️💡 👉 Hayle Shop Reno update: The new sign went up TODAY. 👀 #haylecontracting #stratfordontario #contractinglife by @haylecontracting
One of the questions we ask our clients during a renovation is simple: “How do you actually live in your kitchen?” Because beautiful design is only one part of creating a great space. The kitchen also needs to support the routines that happen there every single day. For this family, that meant creating a dedicated place for phones, tablets, laptops, headphones, and all of the devices that somehow always seem to end up scattered across the countertops. That’s why we recommended the Docking Drawer Blade Duo In-Drawer Outlet. By moving power inside the drawer, we created a charging station that keeps everything organized, easy to access, and completely out of sight - allowing the beautiful design of the kitchen to remain the focal point. A few reasons we love this solution: - Seamlessly integrates into custom millwork - (4) USB-C 30W ports + (4) USB-A ports - Charges up to 8 devices at once - ETL Listed and certified to UL 962A & CSA C22.2 No. 21 for use in Canada - Keeps everyday charging organized, accessible, and off the countertops It’s one of those features that quickly becomes part of your daily routine - and one homeowners often tell us they can’t imagine living without once it’s installed. You shouldn’t have to hear EVERYTHING happening in your home. 👀 When planning a renovation or custom build, insulation is usually discussed in terms of temperature and energy efficiency. But what about NOISE? One of the most overlooked opportunities during construction is adding sound insulation to interior walls and floors. Here are 5 places we’d consider it, and WHY. 👇 01 | LAUNDRY ROOM WALLS Especially when your laundry room shares a wall with a bedroom or main living space. Adding sound insulation can help reduce the noise from your washer and dryer travelling into neighbouring rooms. 02 | BETWEEN BEDROOMS Whether it’s kids sharing a hallway, different sleep schedules, or someone who likes their TV a little louder than everyone else, insulating bedroom walls can make a noticeable difference in privacy and comfort. 03 | BATHROOM WALLS Particularly powder rooms located near kitchens, dining rooms, or living spaces. A little extra sound control can go a long way in making these spaces feel more private. We’ll leave it at that. 😂 04 | BETWEEN FLOORS Footsteps, kids playing, furniture moving... sound travels! Adding acoustic insulation between floors can help reduce airborne noise, particularly when bedrooms are located above busy living areas. 05 | HOME OFFICE WALLS Working from home? Your office shouldn’t have to compete with the TV, conversations, or everything else happening in the house. Sound insulation can help create a quieter, more productive workspace. HERE’S WHAT WE WANT HOMEOWNERS TO KNOW: These are the kinds of decisions that are SO much easier to make before the drywall goes up. And while insulation alone won’t completely soundproof a room, incorporating it into a properly planned sound-control system can make a significant difference. A great renovation isn’t just about how your home LOOKS when it’s finished. It’s about how well it FUNCTIONS for the people living in it. Thinking about renovating? Save this post and bring it up with your contractor BEFORE construction begins. Contact us if you need a crew you can trust (519) 949-2975 office@haylecontracting.ca by @haylecontracting
Some people talk about what they’re going to do. Jordan just figures out how to get it done. 👏🏼 Three years ago this time, we were putting the finishing touches on what would become @ecobaychalet (time FLIES🤯) Looking back at where it all started is a pretty incredible reminder of what a vision (and a WHOLE lot of hard work + planning, village of people, etc) can turn into. 🙌 One thing to know about Jordan, is that he’s going to find a way. Not just any way, but the smartest, most efficient way to get something done without compromising on quality. And the crew? We operate with that same mentality 😉💪 Final clip shot by @dkleasa @imageshark 📸✨ #haylecontracting #stratfordontario #contractorlife #homebuild customhome by @haylecontracting
< when a renovation changes the way you LIVE for the better🙌👏 We’re talking about the kitchen that finally makes sense when three people are trying to cook dinner. The storage that actually fits what you need it to without making a trip to a separate room of the house. The lighting that works just as well for your morning coffee as it does for hosting friends. The best renovations aren’t always about adding more. Sometimes they’re about making better use of what you already have. We look at the bigger picture. How you live, what isn’t working, and how we can bring it all together in a way that makes sense for you. Thinking about renovating? Save this post before you start planning & we’re here if you need us!☺️👇🏼 (519) 949-2975 #renovationtips #stratfordontario #ontariobuilders by @haylecontracting
All jokes aside, one of the greatest compliments we can receive is a client who trusts us enough to call us back for their next project. (even if it comes to them in the middle of the night😅) We’ve always believed that the relationships we build are just as important as the work we leave behind. Getting to know our clients, being welcomed into their homes, bringing their ideas to life, and then getting that call months (or years!) later to do it all over again? That’s something we’ll never take for granted. We’re incredibly grateful for the trust our clients put in our team, the relationships that continue long after a project wraps up, and every opportunity to be invited back. THANK YOU to our clients!🙌 #stratfordontario #contractingservices #contractorlife by @haylecontracting
A good renovation changes how your home looks. A GREAT renovation changes how you live in it. 👏🏼 This main floor transformation is proof of that. By completely reimagining the layout, we created a more open, modern and functional space, with a brand-new kitchen and oversized island that now serves as the heart of the home. But the best part of a renovation like this? Seeing the potential before the walls even come down. It’s one of our favourite parts of what we do. Helping clients envision what’s possible, bringing new ideas to the table, and creating spaces that make sense for the way they actually live. You don’t need to have every detail figured out. You just need a team that’s as excited about bringing your vision to life as you are. And trust us, we get pretty excited about this stuff. 🙌 Project in mind? office@haylecontracting.ca (519) 949-2975 #homereno #ontariobuilder #ontariocontractors by @haylecontracting
There are hundreds of decisions that go into a custom kitchen renovation. Cabinet profiles.
Stone selection. Hardware.
Lighting. And yes... even the outlet devices and styles themselves! For this kitchen, the goal was for every detail to feel intentional. We didn’t want the electrical to interrupt the design - we wanted it to become part of it. That’s why we chose the hardwired Prado receptacles from @dockingdrawer. By colour matching them to the backsplash, they blend seamlessly into the stone while still providing full functionality with two outlets in one discreet footprint. Most people probably won’t notice them at first... and honestly, that’s exactly the point. The best design decisions are often the ones that quietly contribute to the overall feeling of a space without demanding your attention. Because when every detail works together, a kitchen doesn’t just look beautiful - it feels beautiful. General and Electrical Contractor: @haylecontracting

Turns out some things never really change. The projects just get a little bigger. Or something like that 😅😆 Pretty cool getting to build up on our own Hayle Contracting shop to create more office space for our growing crew - with the same people that spend their days building, renovating, wiring, framing, drywalling, painting, and so much more — to bring everyone else’s projects to life! Our Hayle Contracting crew has been tackling everything from the electrical and framing to insulation, drywall, finishes, and everything in between. And we brought in our buddies @nextgenplumbingandheating to handle the plumbing and HVAC! At the end of the day, we’re just a bunch of guys who like building and fixing stuff. This one’s just a little more personal! Thanks to everyone helping bring this to life. We’re very thankful and excited! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 #haylecontracting #skilledtrades #stratfordontario #NextGenHeatingAndPlumbing by @haylecontracting
