NEW EPISODE OUT NOW!!
.
This summer, SKAgazine did a podcast series on-site at Pioneer Valley Ska & Punk Festival in Springfield, Massachusetts. Only one of our hosts was able to make it up, but we still got the job done and were able to share 20+ interviews all with regional ska bands from multiple regions in the country.
.
In fact, it was the chance to see a lot of these regional bands that were not from my area that made me want to attend, plus some encouragement from our friends in Girth Control and PWRUP. The festival was so rad. It was in a unique venue (old church converted into music space with second stage in the school gymnasium), had a very DIY feel, the promoters made us feel so at home, and we saw some of our favorite sets of the year there!
.
It made sense to bring Eric, Cody, and Heather from 413 ska on to talk about the upcoming third annual Pioneer Valley Ska & Punk Festival. They share some useful deets about the festival itself, information for people traveling in, discuss some highlights from years past, and give us an idea of what expect next year.
.
Listen in, make your guesses on who we’ll be seeing, and join us for an incredibly fun festival!
.

Missed No Doubt at Coachella? Np, you can catch 'Faux Doubt' on Saturday @jjstavernma -> like it's 1994 with @wonwordtrend doing The Blue Album and @basics_plus_ on Green Day's Dookie brought to you by @apeland_shows

All ages!! Doors at 7pm, music at 8, prizes, fun and joy all night.

We're joined by @cotepercussion on drums for this one- he always wanted to play MTV spring break and this will be super similar.

This skaturday is gonna be even better than that one @carsondaly ska special #mtv #skaturday

I'm baaack!

Took some time off social to help with mental health stuff. I think I'm ready to share and connect again, I've missed you all!

How have you been? I hope you are well 💞

(Now that we're reconnected, what would you like me to share? Music @futon.lasagna ? Coding tips? (MATLAB, python)? Tech/AI current events? Ethics? Mental health #dyslexia #adhd ? All of above like now??)

Lmk! Much love and gratitude!
