🎙️💕 EXCITING NEWS FROM THE MESSAGE IN THE MESS! 💕

I am beyond excited to sit down with Heidi Lyster from Cancer Care Resource this upcoming Tuesday! 💗

Heidi will be sharing all about Cancer Care Resource, the incredible work they do, and their upcoming event on November 18th! I can't wait to hear her story and help shine a light on an organization making a difference in the lives of others.

❤️ November is the month of THANKFULNESS, and I wanted to do something a little different this year!

I wanted to take this month to GIVE BACK! To celebrate beautiful humans, beautiful businesses, and the stories behind them. The people who show up, give of themselves, lift others up, and make our communities a better place.

Because here's what I've learned along the way...

Everyone has a story. Everyone has faced something. And sometimes the most beautiful messages come from the messiest chapters of our lives. ❤️

My hope for this month is to give these amazing people a platform to share their hearts, their journeys, and their purpose.

I am so thankful for everyone who has said YES to being part of this little podcast of mine. It means more than you know!

So grab your coffee, bring an open heart, and get ready for some beautiful conversations!

🎙️ The Message in the Mess — where every story matters and every voice has a purpose.

💕 STAY TUNED! November is going to be a month filled with gratitude, giving back, and some incredible stories!

What a Beautiful day! Riding with my Hubs Eric Leydekkers! Learning more with every ride ❤️ by @heather_k_presley

To be honest, I find myself spending less and less time on Facebook.

Somewhere along the way, people became far too comfortable being keyboard warriors. The anger, the hate, the judgment, and the things people say behind a screen that they would NEVER have the courage to say to someone's face are honestly exhausting.

I am someone who chooses to live in the LIGHT. ❤️✨

I believe in kindness, compassion, authenticity, and lifting people up. I believe in being vulnerable, sharing our stories, and reminding others that they aren't alone in their struggles.

But vulnerability requires a certain level of respect, and unfortunately, social media has become a place where some people mistake kindness for weakness and someone's openness for an invitation to attack.

I will continue to use Facebook for my podcast, The Message in the Mess, because I believe there is purpose in sharing our stories and helping others heal.

But as far as sharing the personal pieces of my life? I'm becoming much more selective.

Not every space deserves access to your heart, your peace, or your personal journey.

I'm not angry. I'm not bitter. I'm simply choosing to spend my energy in places that align with who I am and the person I continue to become.

I will never dim my light to fit into a world that has become comfortable with darkness. ❤️

Choose kindness. Choose love. Choose peace. And remember, there's a real human being on the other side of that screen.

Finding my way in this crazy world ❤️ 43lbs down. by @heather_k_presley

Today, for the first time in a very long time, I stood in front of the mirror at the gym and REALLY looked at myself. ❤️

45 POUNDS GONE! Just 10 more to go! 💪🔥

And I'm not going to lie… I got emotional. 🥹

Because I know what it took to get here. I've busted my butt! I've cried, I've laughed, I've struggled, and I've wanted to throw in the towel more than once.

There were days I didn't feel motivated. Days I questioned whether all my hard work was paying off. Days when I had to remind myself why I started.

But I kept showing up. FOR ME!

And today, looking in that mirror, I didn't just see the weight I've lost. I saw the woman who refused to give up on herself. I saw strength, determination, discipline, and a whole lot of hard work.

At 56 years old, I'm proving to myself that it's NEVER too late to make changes, chase goals, or become a healthier, stronger version of yourself.

I'm not finished yet, but today I'm allowing myself to be proud of how far I've come.

Here's to 56! To loving myself, celebrating the little victories, and realizing that I'm capable of so much more than I ever imagined! ❤️

And to anyone out there struggling with their own journey… KEEP GOING! One day, you're going to look in that mirror and realize just how far you've come. 🥹💕
