Vote early, vote now and let’s not take our weakening “democracy” for granted! by @heather_rosewarne

Grateful for amazing conversations with other healing professionals and parents yesterday. Thank you to Erika @_weareyourvillagee for bringing this vision to life! Thank you to Amina @the_fremont_social for a long chat about nourishing our babies, our families and ourselves! So good to connect more with @docmaximo @tending_the_nest @sweenfamchiro @drvivianzhang @willa.postpartum @willa.wellness @lilacandivyphotography by @heather_rosewarne

Last Sunday, I remembered my love of paddle boarding, the kind of Joy that makes me laugh out loud at the astonishment of being alive and standing on water! It’s a similar marvel to sitting quietly while a hummingbird hovers nearby or tasting the first ripe cherries in summer.

There's no one right way to be or feel. Whatever is showing up for you needs to be honored and held with care and curiosity.

In our culture, there is so much focus on pregnancy and having a baby, without practical conversations or support for new parents. The postpartum period can be incredibly disorienting and isolating. I offer nurturing presence and guidance during pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood.

Check out my bio & website for in person coaching sessions in Seattle area or virtual appointments anywhere!

As a perinatal health coach, I offer nurturing presence and guidance during pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood. I support people with emotional and mental well-being during 1:1 sessions virtually or in person in Seattle. I do not attend births.

You get to choose the focus, I offer support and strategies to help you navigate challenging moments and feel like yourself again.

Some themes we can focus on:
-Birth/postpartum support planning
-Birth story processing,
-Relationship dynamics/boundaries
-Infant feeding challenges
-Depression, anxiety, overwhelm
-Grief and loss

There’s no right or wrong way to navigate this time, but moving through it with support and guidance can make each day easier ❤️‍🩹

Maternal Mental Health Advocacy Day 3/10/2026

Across the US we advocated for increased funding for the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline
(1-833-TLC-MAMA)

Mental health issues are the most common complications of pregnancy and childbirth!

20-30% of new moms and birthing people and 10% of new dads and partners are affected by depression, anxiety, OCD and even suicide.

Information and access saves lives!

Reach out to Ebb & Flow Perinatal Coaching for support during pregnancy and postpartum. by @heather_rosewarne

We are advocating for more funding for the national maternal mental health hotline and for maternal mental health and substance use disorders programs. These resources save lives! Maternal mental health issues are the most common complication of pregnancy and childbirth!!! And 10% of fathers and non-birthing parents experience mental health issues too.

I’m proud to be representing WA with a local team of mothers who are passionate about perinatal mental health. We all work in the field professionally because of the personal impact on our families!

Thank you, congressman Adam Smith and Senator Murray for your support in prioritizing maternal mental health!

Please call your elected officials today to advocate for these programs!
