Not the most glamorous set-up, but it's mine, and it's where the books get written.

Onto the next book in Inns Along the Way and wishing I was on location writing it... but this will do!

Stay tuned for updates and the real raw honest to god unglamorous take on it all by @heatherfarrwrites

What if the biggest adventure of your life started with inheriting an inn that had absolutely no intention of letting you call the shots?

That's the wonderfully ridiculous world I created in Tide's Edge and Inn, and I'd love for you to come experience it.

I write cozy fantasy for readers who need a mug of something warm and a little hope.

Welcome to Teavanui. 🌴 by @heatherfarrwrites

Meet Beatrix. She's a lawyer who is very good at her job, and she's used to drinking her coffee scalding hot on the go because work comes first.

Then she lands on Teavanui, a tiny South Pacific island with one flight a week, to inherit a magical inn. There's one catch: she has to stay a whole year.

In one early scene she's trudging through sand, sweating and muttering, "Who, in their right mind, found this relaxing?" She's checking for email signal that isn't there, and fully convinced that being away from work might give her an ulcer.

I love Beatrix because she isn't unhappy with her life. She's just never met the version of herself who slows down.

That's what this cozy fantasy is about for me. Not running away from a good life, but wondering what else might be possible. The inn books its own guests, the kitchen knows what you need, and the fridge has opinions. There's a grumpy neighbor in a treehouse, too, and a slow burn that takes its sweet time.

I wrote it for anyone who likes books like The House in the Cerulean Sea and wants a warm mug of something at the end.

So tell me: are you Team Beatrix, hustling with your phone in hand, or Team Slow Living, already barefoot on the beach? Comment which one you are!

If you loved The Spellshop or Practical Magic but wanted a tropical island inn, this cozy fantasy book is for you.

I think I have a little tropical island you'd absolutely fall in love with. 🌺

A magical inn with a mind of its own, a quirky community that becomes family, and a woman who inherits far more than she bargained for.

If you love found family, everyday magic, and wonderfully unexpected adventures, come spend a little time in Teavanui.

Tide's Edge and Inn is waiting for you.

My first book takes you to a tropical island where the inn has a mind of its own, the aunties are meddlesome, and a little everyday magic changes everything.
Welcome! I'm Heather Farr, and I think you're going to like it here. 🌺 by @heatherfarrwrites

I actually cried when I read this review.

I wrote this book in the margins of a very full life, never really knowing if anyone would love this little world as much as I do. Or if I had the skill, all on my own, to match the concept I had.

And then someone I'd never met took a chance on my story and left these words.

I don't think I'll ever get over how incredible that feels.

If you've ever supported an indie author, please know how much it means. ❤️

And if you know one, reach out and leave them some love.

To the four people who've left ratings on my book??? May your days be filled with hot coffee, sunshine, and unexpected blessings! by @heatherfarrwrites

Not every fantasy needs a battle to save the world.

Sometimes the biggest adventure is finding somewhere you belong and choosing to stay.

That's the kind of story I wrote in Tide's Edge and Inn.
