| 10 years. 10 years! Dad, I miss you. I know the tenor section in Heaven’s choir is stronger with you there, but boy do we miss you down here. Love, your favorite daughter 🥰 PS yes, I know I’m your only daughter, but I’m still your favorite. 😏💞 by @heathernw
| From yesterday on National Dog Day… I needed some things from #CherrydaleHardware and they sent me home with treats for @gretathexsdoxie 😍 #shoplocal #charmedlife #nationaldogday by @heathernw
Evening walk with Mookie 🐾 by @heathernw
| Mug shot Monday! Grateful for cooler temps this morning for coffee and snuggles with Greta. The mug choice today is from Singapore when I was there AGES ago. Anyone recognize the hotel? The hotel’s tagline is “Meeting place of the World’s Travellers” 🤩 🇸🇬 #charmedlife #thankfilledlife @gretathexsdoxie #wilsonatyourservice by @heathernw
| Anyone else? If you see me in the next few days, you’ll find me in one of these… 🇺🇸☀️ #charmedlife #thankfilledlife #hotsummerdays by @heathernw
| The birthday pup found a surprise and delight during the morning walk in our neighborhood. How precious is this tree cutting?! H-A-P-P-Y BIRTHDAY, @gretathexsdoxie! 😍🖤💛🤎 #gretathexsdoxie #cherrydalelife #arlingtonva by @heathernw

| What else happened last weekend you ask? A last minute and unexpected opportunity to see @masqueradenyc with @erynlecroy as Christine Daaé… She IS Christine! It was incredible!!! 🎶🎭 #teamchristine #masquerade #phantomoftheopera #charmedlife #travelwithmom {Side note: if you want help planning a trip to NYC, @ways.travel would love to help you!} by @heathernw
| It is Thursday, May 7 and I am still getting over last weekend in NJ. Full of love, sparkle, and music! 💞🎶 Mom came to town and we went to the @annalapwoodorgan concert in Atlantic City, NJ at @boardwalkhall. The organ is THE LARGEST IN THE WORLD!!! If you ever have opportunity to see Anna Lapwood in concert, DO IT. We were there for the premiere of her Lord of the Rings organ symphony. She also did Pirates of the Carribean, Star Wars, Bach, Interstellar, and more…. I videoed the first encore from How to Tame your Dragon. Talk about energy and joy! We laughed, cried, and were uplifted by the joy in the Hall. We stayed with dear family friends near Princeton and it was simply a wonderful weekend. More to come! #annalapwood #playlikeagirl #charmedlife #thankfilledlife by @heathernw
🐾 Last Saturday we joined the Glover Park Weens meet up group in Georgetown at @miloandmavgeorgetown. It was fun to meet other pups closer to my size even if I was still the smallest. 😁 Thanks for the treat too, @miloandmavdc!! Looking forward to the next one! PS even wore my full @upcountryinc set for the special occasion! (Not an ad… just love their stuff.) by @heathernw
| Made a “Cream Tea” this afternoon. Special shout out for the “Interstate 81 Traffic Jam”. Yes, I bought it for the name and it is delicious! 😄 On the life front, the past few months have been tough. I’m pretty high on the empathy scale and feel things deeply. All the STUFF that has been happening here in DC, across our nation, and around the world has been overwhelming at times. Even been at a loss on how to pray. Add to all that a job elimination and several “nos” in the job search and interview process… again, the last few months have been tough. Grateful for friends who allow me to just BE and for my dog who loves without question.💞 Things are starting to change though and there is one venture I’m excited to share about very soon. Y’all know how I love to travel and plan trips?! If you didn’t know, now you do! More on that soon. 😏 In the meantime, I’m going to enjoy the remaining scones tomorrow with tea…and perhaps do a full afternoon tea spread. ☕️🫖 by @heathernw
🎄✨ After the funeral for the penny last Saturday, @heathernw and walked around the National Mall. We visited the DC War Memorial, @nationalparkservice horse stables, and the National Christmas and State Trees. I took photos with my four favorite States and Commonwealths. 😍 Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas to all! #latergram #nationalchristmastree #itwasasunnyday #gretathexsdoxie by @heathernw
