I’ve been meaning to make this since Mackenzie left for college… and I just haven’t.

I think saying it out loud makes it more real. ☹️

It’s been 35 days since I stopped sleeping downstairs… from her.😢

For 18 years, I was always close enough to respond hear an alarm, run upstairs, check her blood sugar, grab her a juice & make sure she was okay.

Now she’s at college… and I’m so proud of her.
But I miss the ordinary things.

Knowing she’s home.
The little check-ins.
Being able to walk upstairs and see for myself that she’s okay.

I’m still on high alert. An alarm goes off and I call. That part of me didn’t move out when she did… #t1dmom #emptynest #nextchapter by @heathertriano

Tonight, a whole bunch of people decided to help people they will never know. ❤️

Children whose names we’ll never know.
Faces we may never see.
Lives completely changed because thousands of strangers decided they mattered.

Tonight at Business Mastery, this room came together and raised $9 MILLION to help Marici fight child sex trafficking and save lives.

$9 MILLION. 🤯

This is why Tony always says:

The secret to living is giving.

Yes, we’re here learning how to build better businesses.
But THIS is what building more can make possible.

Make more. Give more. Help more people.

This might just be my favorite part of Business Mastery. ❤️

I keep thinking about the 13-year-old with nowhere to sleep tonight. Here’s the part that gets me: $100 gets one kid off the street and somewhere safe. A hundred bucks.
So I’m asking- how many kids would you want to help? Donate what you can at covlove.org. And if you want to stand with us in person, we’re sleeping out Nov 19th too.
Be somebody’s safe place. 🤍🙏🦋♥️. #dogood #SleepOut #CovenantHouse #CovLove by @heathertriano

For years I told myself a story: too old, too far removed, no résumé to show for the last two decades. “You can’t start a business at 55- you haven’t had a job in 20 years.”
Raising kids wasn’t a job? Running a whole household wasn’t a job? 😅
The truth is nobody was ever standing in my way but me & the story I kept repeating about myself. So I stopped repeating it. And I jumped! 🔥 💃
So glad I got out of my own way. 🫶
If you’re standing at the edge of your own new chapter, telling yourself some version of “it’s too late” or “I’m not qualified” that’s not a fact!! It’s just a story you haven’t rewritten yet. Go rewrite it🙏🤩🙌

5 days of ProLon done. Day 6 is the “gently ease back in, start with liquids” transition… WTF?!
so I had soup & a bite or two of grilled cheese.( I chewed it up really good! 😂)

But then popcorn, Milk Duds & wine at the movies. 🙈 I mean wine is a liquid right?
The 2 Pilates classes this morning balanced everything out thought right?? 🙃
Hey! I’m proud of getting through it. Progress over perfection. 💪💃🫶♥️🔥. #almostemptynester #healthyliving #balancelife by @heathertriano

You don’t know how much room something takes up in your heart until you almost lose it. 💔
Pearl’s finally home with some recovery ahead. But she’s HOME! 🫶
& Rosie is happy to have her sister back by her side 🤍
To the man who slept by the ER all week and drove them both three states home: thank you doesn’t cover it. You’re the best! Love you! 😘 by @heathertriano

I will not lie to you… had a full conversation with myself about quitting. Out loud. Multiple times. Quit. Don’t quit. Quit. Don’t quit! 🤣
I didn’t quit.🙌
Also? I cooked salmon one night and chicken piccata the next. For the kids. While doing this fast mimicking program. 😩Because apparently I enjoy suffering AND I love being a Mom and cooking for the kids!
ProLon comes in a box - which, yes, you know I never do. But this one is different. It’s a 5-day fast mimicking program developed by a longevity scientist that triggers your body’s own cellular cleanup and renewal process.
They say it can reduce your biological age. I’ll take the torture for that! 😂

One more day and I’m done. 🙏💃🔥🙌

Have you done ProLon or talked yourself out of quitting something this week? Tell me below. #almostemptynester #wellness #nextchapter by @heathertriano

A few weeks ago I called myself a bird launcher. Felt so sure of myself.
& then I stood in the backyard the other morning - the birds were everywhere. Loud, alive, going wild.
And it hit me… this was always the plan.

Loving them was never about holding on. (Even though I’m so tempted) 😉
It was always about preparing them to fly.
The nest gets quieter soon. But the sky? The sky gets fuller. 🤍

Still a bird launcher…

A lot of shit happens.
Some of it is inconvenient. Some of it is heartbreaking. And some of it changes you forever.
This isn’t about pretending it doesn’t hurt, skipping over the grief, or forcing yourself to be positive. Feel it. Cry. Be angry. Fall apart when you need to.
But eventually, we get to decide whether what happened will define the rest of our lives.
You may not get to choose what happened.
But you do get to choose what happens next. ❤️

Things happen. They don’t happen to you.

Just my two cents tonight.

Or Follow...💁‍♀️Consider this your fair warning. 😂 Cocktail in one hand, Diet Coke in the other, too many trucker hats, cooking for a crowd that may or may not show - water on the sidelines to balance it all out. And yes, I’ll ugly-cry about my kids leaving in between.

But here’s the real reason I’m here: for the mom who thinks she’s out of time. The one who believes it’s too late to start something new, too late to become someone new. I need you to hear me… it is not too late!! I reinvented myself. I found my purpose. And now my purpose is you.💃💃💃

Don’t give up hope. You can find your passion again. You can find yourself again. The kids leaving isn’t the end of your story … it might just be the first chapter you actually get to write for you. 🦋♥️🔥

Tell me in the comments — what’s the thing you’ve been telling yourself you’re “too late” for? Let’s talk about it. 🫶#almostemptynester #momlife #midlifeawakening by @heathertriano
