This morning I spent some time at the Gardner’s beautiful sunflower farm. They are so gracious to let me visit after their season has ended. I have a large bucket of flowers that need me to decide how to use them. #botanicalart #ontarioartist #canadianartist #sunflowers #endofsummer by @heatherwadsworthart

I went for a short walk around the beautiful gardens behind our local hospital. We are so blessed to have theses spaces for all to enjoy.

Some of my block prints. They are a fun change from my detailed paintings. I try to do one each week. I recent began a course with @3dottedpenguins and have learned quite a bit so far.

I am doing some quick pencil sketches and adding a bit of watercolour. Just playing and observing.

A beautiful amaryllis on our balcony. So many things I could paint! I just need to make the time for it.

It is hot here in Elora today. I am enjoying seeing blooms starting on and from our balcony. There will be lots of inspiration for paintings here this year.

I am working on a few things at the moment. This is just one of them; a lovely ginkgo leaf I found a few years ago. Still plenty to do on this.

I pressed these leaves in the fall and they look quite good.
