POSTS STORIES REELS

The Bloodwing Academy has risen to be my favorite series. Absolutely love it.

I read 7 books in September. It was all about The Hellgate Guardians series, the new Raven Kennedy book, book 2 of The Shepherd King duology, and ending with another fun one, co written by Raven Kennedy and Ivy Asher.

1. Grave Consequences by Ivy Asher & Raven Kennedy
2.Grave Decisions by Ivy & Raven
3. Grave Signs by Ivy & Raven
4. The Girl Who Cries Colors by Raven Kennedy
5. Two Twisted Crowns by Rachel Gillig
6. The Sweetest Fiend by Raven Kennedy
7. April's Fools by Ivy & Raven

☀️This month's winner is The Sweetest Fiend 🌟 I loved this story, fell in love with the FMC and I can't wait until the 2nd book comes out. But I enjoyed all my reads this month. The Hellgate Guardians is such a fun series, and The Girl Who Cries Colors is really a beautiful book. The Shepherd King duology is so beautifully written, highly recommend 👏

Books on my Fall radar.

Most anticipated book, however, is The Sweetest Fiend by @ravenkennedybooks. September 22nd! by @heidi_reads_alot

Date night with my husband. Last week was the 19th anniversary of our first date. We were engaged 5 months later, married in March, and parents in September 😁 life is a whirlwind but when you know, you know

I finished The Library of Amorlin yesterday.

I'm so torn about how I feel about it. While I liked the concept of the story, and the writing was good, I was so annoyed with the FMC the WHOLE TIME! only to redeem herself in the last 5% of the book! Which is what saved it for me, to be honest. Because of the ending, it gets 3.5/5 stars. And I'm mildly interested in book 2, which comes out next year.

Do I recommend? Maybe. There's little to no romance, except the slowest burn I've ever read. And be prepared to be bewildered by Kasira. Frustrated the hell out of me. But there are engaging characters, like May and Allaster.
