About last Monday. A proper fill-your-cup afternoon at the Fitzroy Hotel in London for the @ufurnishcom Home Awards. I was shortlisted as one of five finalists in the β€˜Best Garden’ category. Unfortunately, I didn’t win, but I did meet Dorothy, the real-life @duluxuk dog, which was better. Star strucketh. Can’t quite believe my life lately, to be honest. by @helenmclean.curated
Ad|PR invite. About last weekend. Ibiza with @laura.james.home. Still pinching myself, to be honest. Met some wonderful people, ate, drank, previewed the most beautiful garden furniture collection, got drenched, spent 10 hours in Ibiza airport due to said drenching. Wouldn’t change a thing. by @helenmclean.curated

πŸ“ @poolbridgefarm I couldn’t gate keep this place, it’s idyllic. So peaceful. It’s just outside York in the Yorkshire countryside. I had a 55-minute contrast therapy session (self-led), alternating between the wood-fired sauna (the view though), and wild swimming in the lake (refreshing to say the least). Cost Β£16.50. Tranquility personified. by @helenmclean.curated

Whistle-stop visit to the beautiful island of Malta. The capital Valletta is absolutely stunning. You can get the ferry from Sliema (day return 5 euros) and wander the streets of the capital. I had a lovely ring made from a street stall near St John’s Cathedral. Take the lift down from Upper Barrakka Gardens (1 euro return), and get a traditional boat over to the Three Cities (3 euros each way). Get lost in the beautiful narrow streets of the Mdina, known as the β€˜Silent City’. Stop for cake at Fontanella, the view from the terrace is wonderful. For 10 euros you can take a short boat ride to the Blue Grotto. The water is so blue and clear. Golden hour view over the Mediterranean Sea at Dingli Cliffs, the highest point in Malta. Buses are 2.50 euros and Bolt is widely used. Malta travel | Valletta | Blue Grotto | Three Cities | Mdina | Silent City by @helenmclean.curated
