POSTS STORIES REELS

July was a month of firsts. From receiving a diplomat upon arrival, to sitting alongside them at the press conference, to receiving a guest of honor at our launch of @keyjanaimpact and sharing the high table with them, to stepping in front of that same audience and media as host and speaker, giving a speech that outlined the journey of me and my colleagues on how it all started, all sooner than I ever expected 🙌

None of this would have been possible without the @keyjanaimpact team. Since we began this journey last year, they entrusted me with this leadership role and believed in what we could build together🙏🙏

Grateful for the growth, the trust, and the journey so far 🙏🏻🙏🏻

To the team that makes it happen: @nillahiel @erickmallya_ @johnsonthomson_ @thabithjohn @juliusemuhindi, we’ve got this 🤝

Today, I had the huge honor of meeting and engaging @malala , a world-renowned education activist,a UN Messenger of Peace, and the youngest Nobel Prize laureate 🏆✨

As one of the young women leaders at the meeting, we shared stories and inspiration on advancing girls’ rights. This moment reminded me—our fight for girls’ education isn’t just local… it’s a worldwide movement 🌍💖🌐

I am grateful to join the Youth Sounding Board (YSB) for the European Union Delegation to Tanzania and the East African Community for 2024-26. I look forward to engaging and promoting youth inclusion in democratic processes in the areas of collaboration between @euintanzania and Tanzania, and beyond. 🇹🇿🇪🇺 by @hellen_sisya

Back in Kigoma! 🙌🏾

A few months ago, we trained young people on social accountability, equipping them with the skills to engage leaders, track development projects, and demand accountability through existing governance structures.

The best part? Hearing that participants had shared the knowledge with their peers and had already started monitoring development projects in their communities. 💡

This time, through Keyjana Talks under the @keyjanaimpact, we brought together young people and government leaders in Kigoma for honest conversations on issues that matters to youth.

From learning to leading. From participation to action. This is what youth leadership looks like. ✨

Have you ever wondered how many women get stuck without justice simply because the system is too complex and hard to reach? How can innovation help close that gap?🤔

Yesterday I had the privilege of serving as MC for the session “Strengthening Access to Justice to Women: Innovative Access to Justice Solutions” at Innovation Week Tanzania 2026, held at Meru Hall, JNICC.

Thanks to @undptz and @enabel_tz for giving me the opportunity to MC 🎤 this important conversation.

What does the next five years of movement building and organising look like for the @dadasrisetz ?🤔

That was the question we sat with during the Co-Creation Strategic Plan Development Workshop, held under the theme, “Sisterhood in Motion: Co-Creating Our Collective Future through a Feminist Strategic Planning Process,” as part of the Renewed Women’s Voice and Leadership Tanzania (RWVL-T) programme.

As a deputy national coordinator, I had the honour of speaking on behalf of @dadasrisetz , taking participants through our journey — our background, our current reality, and the future we are collectively building.

We are looking ahead to building a stronger, more organised, and more resilient coalition — one that brings together the collective power of young feminist women leaders and contributes to a broader movement for the rights, dignity, and equality of girls and women in Tanzania.

What does justice look like for women?
Can a woman truly access justice if the system wasn’t built with her?

Today at @innovation_week_tanzania, we’re spotlighting innovative solutions that are closing this gap and reimagining what access to justice for women can look like. 🎙️

Opportunities are open. But who can actually reach them?
During Innovation Week 2026, young people took the lead in a powerful conversation on opportunity, innovation, employment and influence.

Through a Youth Ideas Debate led by the Youth Sounding Board (YSB) and Youth-led CSOs from Vijana Plus, EU funded Project implemented by Save the Children in partnership
with Tanzania Bora Initiative, young people challenged assumptions and shared their experiences around accessing opportunities, building networks, driving innovation and finding pathways to decent work.

The discussion explored three critical questions:
-Does your CV open the door, or does your network get you through it?
-Are young innovators being given what they need to shape Tanzania’s transformation?
-Are volunteering and internships pathways to decent work, or becoming substitutes for it?

The conversation went beyond identifying challenges. Young people proposed solutions and shared what they believe institutions, development partners, employers and decision makers need to do differently.

Because young people are not only asking for opportunities. They are asking to help shape them, access them and influence what comes next.
