It’s a great big month at Hello Comics! In addition to October 17th’s signing with @olivermertz and our Marvel Crisis Protocol demo with @sabregamesandcards, we’ll also have Superhero Storytime at the Central Library on Sunday October 11th and 25th from 2-2:30 PM, and we’ll be doing a weekend event for Halloween (we are so excited to have a Saturday Halloween this year). And be sure to come out and say hi to a sleepy Dave at 11:30 PM on Tuesday, October 6th for our SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH / MARVEL MIDNIGHT midnight release party! I hear there will be special treats from our pals at @onipress while supplies last, and, of course, a LOT of comics. by @hellocomicsva

Can you believe Hello Comics Downtown has been here for 10 years? Seems like just yesterday David and I were hauling books from our old location on fourth street (well, he was hauling - I was 9 month pregnant!) - Hello Downtown has changed a lot and is looking more gorgeous than ever thanks to the hard work of our Downtown Team & @kitsunes_closet ! @downtownmallcville by @hellocomicsva

We didn’t win the Eisner Award this year but damn if we didn’t have a lovely time. Thank you to the judges, especially Matt Fraction, our fellow nominees, everyone who’s ever shopped with us, everyone in comics, and congrats to @bwp_eug for a well deserved win. I’m sleepy and I’m going to bed! 💖 by @hellocomicsva
