rare disease day ⭐️ 2/28/26 -today is extra special to me because I have morquio a syndrome—which means im one of a KIND! 🦓 sometimes my body works a little differently & I have to be extra brave w/ doctor visits and treatments; but having morquio also means I am strong, courageous, and surrounded by so much love! ❣️being rare just means there aren’t many of us & that makes us very special. today I am celebrating 🤍my strength 🤍 my friends & family 🤍 all the other rare warriors out there! if you know someone with a rare disease celebrate them today, we are all different and that’s what makes the world beautiful! @thisjustinn @sweetcar0lyn @rally4reed by @hellomynameisreed

Today is Rare Disease Day 💙

We’re asking our friends, family and community to wear JEANS in honor of our boy, Reed.

Reed has a rare genetic disorder called Morquio Syndrome. It’s something most people have never heard of. It affects his body in ways you can’t always see, and it brings challenges that most kids never have to think about.

But here’s what we want you to know.

Reed is strong.
Reed is joyful.
Reed is brave.
And he is so deeply loved.

Wearing jeans today is a simple way to say
“I see you.”
“I support you.”
“You are not alone.”

Rare diseases may be uncommon, but the love surrounding those who live with them is anything but rare.
