Finally, this year’s @worldcarpclassic has arrived, which this year will be held in Orellana, one of Spain’s top carp waters. The place is known for both numerous and enormous carp up to 37+ kg. 🐳 Specimen Baits is again sponsoring the event this year, and we have two teams in the competition, which starts on Monday at 2:00 PM and lasts until Saturday at 8:00 AM. Our Danish team again this year consists of @anders.h.jepsen , @bogemose and @henrik.arvedsen The French team consists of @cedric59330 , @kyni68 and @valentin.vandaele.3 . We left home on Wednesday, and the 3,000 km. long drive took 52 hours including breaks. Anders was a little smarter and took the plane to Malaga. This year there will be a draw for places at registration. The sections will be defined with a wheel of fortune tomorrow. So right now we only know that we will be fishing from place 4 in one of the sections. This year there are 182 teams in the competition, and it’s great to be back and meet old and new friends. The atmosphere is already great down here. 🙌 We will be posting updates from here over the next week. I really hope you will follow along and cheer us on. It helps to get a little more focus on Denmark and the Danish carp scene. #specimenbaits #26wcc #worldcarpclassic by @henrik.arvedsen

We are pleased to announce the launch of our very own clothing line. Six months of work has been put into it to ensure you the best possible comfort while fishing. The T-shirt is made of heavy weight 220 GSM high-quality and soft cotton. The Hoodie and the Joggers are made from heavy weight 320 GSM high-quality soft cotton/polyester. They are brushed on the inside to great softness. The Joggers comes with deep side pockets with zippers and cold finger grips for easy opening and closure. They also feature a wide elastic waistband and an external drawsting. The same wide elastic is featured at the ankles. The Hoodie has a high neckline which will minimize cold air inside. They all three comes in the same dark olive green color to keep you stealth on the bank. Our lime yellow/green logo is printed in real 2D rubber screen print on each item. They come in size Medium, Large, Extra Large and 2XL. by @henrik.arvedsen

SPIRIT OF ANGLING SHORE-LINE CLEAN UP OPERATION! We, as carp anglers, take up space and time at the waters, which makes us very visible to other users of nature. We need to take responsibility and clean up. Not only after ourselves. But also after others. Please don’t leave your garbage behind. @worldcarpclassic @specimenbaits @specimenbaitsfr @specimenbaitsuk #26WCC #26WCCFriendsOFOrellana #26WCCSpiritOFAngling #SpecimenBaits by @henrik.arvedsen

Again this year @specimenbaits is sponsoring @danske_karpefiskere ‘s fish in in Tuel Sø in Sorø. All participants will recieve a bag of our extremely effective and popular Nut Deluxe Boilies. They are based on Peanut and Tigernut flour and are designed for autumn and spring fishing with a medium/high content of proteins. This boilie is easy digestable for the carp and it contains a very high amount of attractors like yeast extract, liver powder, fenugreek, sugar and betaine. Are you looking for a real nut boilie with a strong and dark smell of nuts, you don’t have to look any further. #specimenbaits #nutdeluxe #danskekarpefiskere by @henrik.arvedsen
@henrik.arvedsen caught this big #commoncarp on a 24 mm. Coconut Unique Boilie topped with a 20 mm. white Coconut Pop Up fished over a feeding of Nut Deluxe Boilies. Henrik says: “I haven’t been out fishing since early May due to immense amounts of work. My carp fever was close to 200 degrees, so I simply had to leave for a weekend trip. Saturday evening just as the air pressure dropped and the rain stopped, I got a slow run on the right rod. It felt like a big fish right away. And it was. On the bank the weight stopped at 16.9 kg. and one of the biggest and rare commons from that lake was the in the sling. A perfect cure for carp fever! 🙌” @danske_karpefiskere @specimenbaitsfr @specimenbaitsuk #carp #carpangler #carpangling #carpfishing #carping #carpy #thatscarpy #bigcarp #totalcarp #carplife #karp #karpfen #karpfenangeln #karpfenfischen #karpfenangler #karper #karpervisser #karpervissen #pechecarpe #karpefiskeri #specimenbaits #boilies by @henrik.arvedsen
Again this year @specimenbaits is sponsoring Denmark’s biggest and absolutely best carp angling social @smuk_karpecup in Lake Skanderborg. We have made a special coated hookbait for this event based on our Mussel Supreme Boilies. The hookbaits has been soaked in hydrolyzed Green Lipped Mussel Liquid Attractor and then covered in a mixture of Yeast Extract and Hydrolyzed Green Lipped Mussel Attractor Powder. This hookbait is designed to release feeding signals instantly and trigger the appetite of the carp right away. It only took a few hours of the event before the first carp were caught by @sorenrichardhansen on this special Smuk Karpe Cup 2026 Hookbait. #specimenbaits #smukkarpecup #danskekarpefiskere by @henrik.arvedsen
