A Testimony to 2024,

As much as I want to say this year was amazing it was more of a rollercoaster. Still adjusting to Houston life. The highlights of 2024 overcoming adversity, meeting new friends, the ability to have fun in the midst of chaos, and the constant evolution of internal and external growth. This year was honestly one of the hardest for me and so many times I thought about giving up but that’s just not me. I’m kinda stubborn, highly determined, ambitious, and most of all resilient. 2024 has taught me so much in a general aspect. From house hopping, with the landlords from hell to hotel hopping, to a lease. From being able to barely save, to making it happen, to living more abundantly. Nobody said the journey would be easy, I’m just proud and thankful that I made it without compromising who I am and what I stand for. 1 year in HTX down and it’s only the first stop on this adventure. So with that I say thank you 2024. Thank you God. Thank you Me !

The assignment:
✨ Present the vision.
✨ Hold the room.
✨ Enjoy the party.

Mission accomplished.

Some people see the event.
Some people see the photos.

My favorite part is witnessing an idea become a memory.

Honored to stand before the room for Dinner with the Muse. Grateful to celebrate one year of Mingle & Muse alongside a community that continues to inspire connection, creativity, and meaningful conversations.

Here’s to year one—and everything still to come.

IYKYK 💡 by @hesanaries

Closing statement: 2023 was a year of intense self discovery that allowed me to find missing pieces while gaining new ones. I communed with family/ friends, sold product from my business, illustrated, painted, wrote (a lot), sung, danced, sewed/ styled (fashion), cooked, did some photography, Bartend (got a lot of people drunk), attended classes, read a couple books, lost a car, bought a car, cleared all debt, made it out my city and well u see me 📍. Completed many short term goals and long term. Gained a new mindset and perspective on life. Self love and self care. Emotional rollcoaster that never stops (adulting can be ghetto). Thank you to this year now it’s time I lay u to rest. In conclusion, we therefore commit this chapter to the ground, earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust; in sure and certain hope of the Resurrection to eternal life. by @hesanaries
