Whether you need help with your systems or managing your project, I’m your girl. 🕺 Set up a discovery call using the link in my bio to get started~ by @hey.beck.eh

I dropped out of a computing science degree. I got a diploma in web design instead (“more creative”) and still ended up working in cubicles as a programmer - I lasted about 6 years before I finally had enough and literally ran away to Scotland to start over.

When I moved, I went back to working in coffee shops to make friends. But I also discovered I loved working with people, and making things, and fixing problems.

I came home in the middle of COVID and refused a couple of sensible job offers in favour of barista work. (The thought of looking at another line of code made me want to vomit, cry and light something on fire all at once.) I worked my way up to management, where I fell in love with ops. (I remember one time, I asked my boss to show me how he ordered supplies and he walked me into the storage room, told me to look around, and choose numbers based on ~vibes~)

I bounced between a few industries, but my favourite tasks were always the same: making processes clear so my staff were confident in their roles. Putting in systems so everything went smoothly every time. Training my staff and watching them light up when they finally nailed their first latte art.

Even the stuff I liked about web dev was all part of the same thing: I like solving problems for people and helping people understand things. I want the background to run smoothly so that others can shine.

And now, I’m here to help creative business owners bring that same sense of order to their businesses so that they can focus on their best work: crushing their projects and delighting clients.

The parts of your business that are the most chaotic, the stuff that you can’t seem to get a handle on are all the pieces that I’ve been quietly fixing for other people for over a decade. Now it’s my whole thing (though I do miss making cappuccinos sometimes).

Follow along to see what I’m building and helping people with. And if you ever need a quick sounding board - I’d love to chat, just DM me :) by @hey.beck.eh

Maybe you’re just trying to do the Very Important Work that only you can do while also being your team’s go-to question-answerer. That's, like, 2 full time jobs.

P.S. Having a right-hand person to manage your team doesn’t mean that you never speak to your team again - it just means the little questions, the check-ins, the following up is someone else’s job instead of yours, so that you can go back to the big-picture, exciting, life-giving work that you actually want to do.

The questions are just a symptom of the problem. As a team manager, I’d always rather people ask questions if they’re not clear, but sometimes… it gets overwhelming. Or you’re wondering why they can’t figure things out for themselves by now. When that happens, these are the things I’m looking for. by @hey.beck.eh

Juuuust checking 👀 if you need to be talked off any of these ledges, I got your back by @hey.beck.eh

What’s some gold star behaviour in your business? by @hey.beck.eh

It’s actually easier than you think & future you will be so grateful. Next time you’re starting the ~process~, open up a Google Doc or your notebook, and start writing down each step as you do it. At the end, you’ve got an SOP, congrats! You can refine from there, and maybe even… delegate some of it? *gasps from the audience*

Comment 🎡 when you’ve completed your dare for confetti 🥳 by @hey.beck.eh

Dear algorithm, please connect me with creatives who need to know they can make more $$$ without working more hours… by systematizing all the backend stuff in their biz 🙏🏻 by @hey.beck.eh

Are there already apps out there that could do this for me? Almost definitely. But where’s the fun in that? 🤪 What personal projects are you working on right now? by @hey.beck.eh
