POSTS STORIES REELS

Nearly a month away and we'll be together for transformational insight for your life, your business and your career.

You know that I don't play games with your time or attention. I believe God always sends us His BEST, so I can't wait for you to experience what Ebony Magee (@ebonyconsults), Coach Dani D (@yourworkflow), Alana Scott (@kinkzhair), Tam Sherman (@tamarajeneen) and Tynia Coleman (@empowerhercoach) have in store for us.

🥹

I didn't even realize, until this literal moment, how this year is the SEED of what’s to come.

This really is exceeding abundantly above all I asked or thought when I started this work 20 years ago.

I'm excited to share what’s next... by @hey_im_sheryl

44 days from now, we'll be gathering for Occupy 2026.

I'll see you at Occupy... by @hey_im_sheryl

It’s no secret that the business funding landscape has changed over the last couple of years. Access to capital looks different, and funders’ expectations are shifting. For many of you, it feels hard to answer the question, “Where can I get funding?” While others of you are wondering if you even qualify.

Our 2nd P.O.W.E.R. Pro Workshop Leader, @iamalanascott, is the phenomenal founder of Kinkz Hair Products and she's seen first-hand what it takes to position a business for funding and sustainable growth.

Don't miss this! I'll see you at #Occupy2026...

(Thanks, as always, to @kati_the_redhead and @fidelitybankpower for connecting us to such amazing people!) by @hey_im_sheryl

WELCOME BACK, @tyniacoleman!

During last year's Occupy Week, she helped us understand how to make powerful transitions. This year, she's bringing her thought leadership to our co-working sessions. (Note to self: bring extra tissues...)

A Licensed Professional Counselor, wife and mother, she's an expert in helping people do the work their souls need, so they don't crack under the pressure of work, business and life. I'm elated to have her with us...I know you're gonna love what she's bringing us. I'll see you at #Occupy2026... by @hey_im_sheryl

...and the countdown to #Occupy2026 continues!

If you attended Occupy the last couple of years, you probably sat next to or had lunch at the same table with Tam.

This year, you'll get to experience how truly masterful she is! She's a multi-talented strategist, who fully believes it's possible to be everything you're supposed to be, without losing your mind!

What she's bringing to our co-working sessions this year is gonna reset how you think and how you execute whatever you're supposed to be doing at this stage of your life.

SHE'S BACK!

We had the privilege of having @ebonyconsults as a virtual thought leader during last year's Occupy Week. This year, we've got the benefit of having her share her business development expertise in-person.

Ebony is a business development expert, author & founder of a wonderful women's ministry.

She's passionate about showing people how to lay the RIGHT foundation for everything they're building, how to avoid the mistakes & how to sift through the myths to get to the truth.

I'm excited.
She's excited.
You need to be excited!

100 Days...We're 100 days away from Occupy!

I've been praying, planning & intentionally bringing together people who have something meaningful to share. You already know we're not just talking inspiration for the moment, but wisdom you can carry back into your business, leadership & everyday life.

Today, I'm excited to introduce what we're calling our P.O.W.E.R. Pro Session. Coach Danni D is a business coach, strategist & professional development trainer who has PROVEN that it's possible to "work with ease".

I can't wait for you to hear what she has to share.

November 14 is getting closer & I can't wait to see you at #Occupy2026.

Prayer is God's priority for us.
Lord, teach us to pray... by @hey_im_sheryl

Hey Cousins,

I’ve been sitting "with" something for a while. Sitting "on" something else for longer.

The first thing is something I know, that I know, that I know is needful right now. The second is equally needful, but the time isn't right. Not for it. Not for me. It requires "more". I had a chat with @dolcebellissima23 today and she said "Don't just release it because people asked for it...nah...work on it 'til it's ready then launch it."

God's been teaching me something different about capacity, while at the same time reminding me that just because I can say "yes" doesn’t mean I’m assigned to.

My availability without discernment slowly erodes my obedience and right now, He's got me on a path of radically immediate obedience. (You ever had Jesus take the wheel and He throws you in the back seat; so you have no clue where you're going or why He's driving so fast!? 😂 Yeah...that!)

What's the lesson? My calendar tells a story. It's revealing what I protect, what I prioritize and what I believe I’m responsible for carrying, covering or solving. Not everyone is meant to be a part of that story just because they have a need for who I am, what I know and what I can do.

After something the Lord showed my husband @revfwdkicks about 2 years ago, I learned that access can only be attached to my assignment; proximity requires purpose.

My faithfulness to His call isn't measured by how many people can reach me for my gifts, but by how clearly I can hear Him and what I do with what He tells me.

So I’m grateful for people who don't just remind me to "be great"; they make me take the medicine I give other people. I'm grateful for the correction and the covering.

This is me unlearning... by @hey_im_sheryl

Hey Cousins,

Before 2026, I want you to grow beyond thinking of failure as finality; see it as a fence, instead.

Failure is a boundary with a dual purpose: it keeps out what doesn't belong and it protects what does belong. Because we know all things work together for our benefit, our advantage, our good (Romans 8:28), some failure is a boundary of grace, it's not a verdict of defeat.

I'm praying that we have the wisdom to see failure as a type of filter that sifts out what doesn't belong to us, that helps us wait on the mature harvest so we can distinguish the wheat from the tare and not waste our time trying to reap what God wants to preserve us from.

Sometimes failure is the fence that's protecting the things that are still too small, too tender, too delicate to be handled just yet--from our undeveloped character to our private revelation that's not ready for public consumption, maybe failure forces us to focus so we don't expose these precious things too soon.

No failure doesn't feel good; we all want to do well. But just like building a house, a fence is a necessary part of construction. In whatever you're "building", from now into 2026, ask God what He's keeping out, ask Him what He's trying to keep in, what He wants to protect and preserve.

I guarantee you that the failure is for you, not against you. by @hey_im_sheryl

This is prayer that comes before performance.
This is faithfulness & the fear of the Lord.
This is strategy, stillness & stewardship.

This is Occupy. by @hey_im_sheryl
