When I put pen to paper to record my gratitude, suddenly my list of things I’m grateful for outweighs the list of problems I have.

What are you grateful for today?

I see you.

That’s what I want you to know. Juggling motherhood and an illness is HARD, holy and work.

I am still trying to find my stride 10 months into my diagnosis- it feels chaotic and still filled with a lot of grief. I think Satan is very gifted at deceiving us- the things we walk through with a chronic illness feels heavy and dark. THAT is where he wishes we would camp. He wants us to feel isolated, alone and defeated.

But I just want to share hope and light in that darkness and say you’re not alone. I see you- I feel you and I am right here with you. And not only that but God sees you.

As I write this, a hymn comes to mind:

“There’s not a friend like the lowly Jesus.
No, not one! No, not one!
None else could heal all our soul’s diseases.
No, not one! No, not one!

Jesus knows all about our struggles;
He will guide till the day is done.
There’s not a friend like the lowly Jesus.
No, not one! No, not one!”

We have had our audio speaker from Little Bible Stories for almost 2 years now and it is STILL a favorite in our house. 👇🏾👇🏾

The speaker comes with content already on with the ability to add more in the future. 30 Bible stories, 12 Sunday school songs and 8 prayers. ❤️

It is NOT connected to WiFi or Bluetooth. 🎉 It is rechargeable and has a headphone jack (perfect for travel!)

All I’m saying is you there is still time to grab this for a perfect Christmas gift for the littles! Make sure to use my discount code MAMADILL to save 15% off your order 🎉🎉

I can’t even tell you how awful that was having a whole limb be completely numb.

It was so uncomfortable I remember being so upset when my husband or child touched my arm. Not because I didn’t love them but it was really weird.

And while this is a super weird thing to remember I’m going to probably remember because that’s the thing that helped them find out what was wrong with me.

Turns out I wasn’t making it up & it wasn’t postpartum related.

WAIT, these are press on nails? 👀👀 And what do you mean these are just a few of the nail set that are ON SALE right now?!

At home press on nail mani kits ON SALE (plus some makeup items!) All kits come with 24-30 nails, glue, cuticle stick and file! I highly recommend grabbing the nail dehydrator which is also on sale too.

Peep the comments for the 🔗 to shop. I appreciate the support!

The last few months, I’ve been reprioritizing my health. Being diagnosed with a lifelong illness has made me rethink a lot of things.

I want to be stronger. I want to feel better. I want to do things that help my body and not the opposite.

I’ve cut out a lot of stuff I was regularly eating that was bad for my disease. I started moving every day. And yes I’ve seen the number drop on the scale but that’s really just an added bonus.

Just want to be able to say I didn’t give up and I did everything I could to live as long as I could.

So many things that feel discouraging right now.

And gosh sometimes my spirit just wants to give up.

I’m tired but I’m going to find a way to pivot. To pursue things that matter to me but find a way to do them better than ever.
