Strider’s first birthday party character cutouts for under $40 🤍
What I used:
Character images (Very Hungry Caterpillar, Brown Bear) — $5 from Etsy
Banner, printed at Walgreens on sale — $23
Foam board, 4 sheets — $2 each ($8 total)
Hot glue + regular glue — already had on hand
How I did it:
1. Cut the characters out from the printed poster
2. Glued them onto foam board for stability
3. Trimmed the edges clean with an exacto knife
4. Superglued foam board stands to the back so they’d stand on their own

Little details like this are what make his first birthday feel so special 🤍

homemade cinnamon applesauce 🍎🤎 | gifted by @bearforbaby

i love making Strider’s food from scratch, especially when it’s this easy! 🥹🤍

i’ve been using @bearforbaby’s NutriEase food maker, which steams, blends & even cleans itself, making homemade food a little easier (and cleanup a lot quicker!)

🍎 apples + cinnamon
✨ steam, blend & enjoy!

Just a reminder that sensory play doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s as simple as letting your toddler splash in puddles and explore the world around them. 🤍☔️

i knew i would love being your mom, but i don’t think i ever realized how much i’d love simply doing life with you. 🤍

the grocery store runs, our little adventures, dancing around the kitchen, getting outside just to get some fresh air, and laughing over things that probably wouldn’t be funny to anyone else.

there’s something so special about watching your baby become their own little person and realizing they’re becoming your favorite person to spend an ordinary tuesday with.

whether you’re a first time mom like me or you’ve been doing this for years, i hope you know you’re doing a wonderful job. we’re all figuring it out as we go, and there’s so much love in the little things we do every day. 💖🫶🏻

A little project that made our house feel more like home. 🤍 Finally got around to creating a gallery wall filled with our favorite family memories, and seeing my son admire the photos made it even sweeter. 🥹✨
