Portraits by Hey Next Paige

Turns out I overloaded my website with large files, so while I get that sorted out (like I needed to give myself more work to do 🫣) here are some very mini portfolio “swatches” if you will.

Please send your inquiries to heynextpaige@gmail.com ✨

Put your reading glasses on and say hello! 🤓

My mind is still blown by the inquiries I receive from this platform! And to other photographers out there just trying, let me say that Instagram is Not dead even if you don’t have a massive account 🖤 keep going and keep being authentic and your people will find you! Truly 🙂

Here’s the briefest of hellos to some of the newest friends. If you’ve stuck around this long, sound off in the comments! How and why are you here? Do you know me in real life, TPP, the *gasp* algorithm 😝 by @heynextpaige

📌 I had another post planned for today, but this is more important. Brb trying not to SCREAM by @heynextpaige

These are a few photos from one of my absolute favorite sessions from the end of the summer 🌼 and I want them to serve as a reminder that with me, your comfort and online privacy choices come first.

In my onboarding process, I ask whether or not I have your consent to use your images across my platforms - probably with too many options 🤪 - but YOU should be able to make the final decision of whether or not your likeness is available for public viewing online (as much as possible) in the mayhem of today’s media. When you work with me you can be sure that your feelings and choices will be respected 🫶

Also- how rad are these locations?!

Also…. Tomorrow is the big day. GO VOTE! Love you 🙂

“Baby sisters, amiright?” -Alyce, probably

Don’t get me wrong- I love walking through gardens and trekking through fields with you, truly- but sometimes the best spot for your photos is the comfort of your own home! There’s something special about finding light and beauty in your everyday ✨ it might not seem like much, but being able to look back on it will mean everything 🫶

Gallery delivery day for sweet baby angel Norah 🤗

We have SO much fun at our senior sessions! You pick the vibe, and I promise you I’ll match it with (genuine) unreasonably excited cool aunt energy ✨

Looking forward to wandering Old Town, weird parking garages, and cutie book stores with some of you soon!

Cutie seniors incoming 🥰

Anna(s)
Norah
Clara-

Loving working on your gorgeous galleries! Remember- I’m booked for the remainder of the year, but I still have space for some seniors in the winter/spring before grad season! Spots are filling fast and we have so much fun, if I do say so myself 😉

Pretending I’m texting my best friend (I actually did) saying “Weddings by Paige be like…” and then sends a photo of a horse and a dog and a butterfly 😁

Your guests may report that I was following butterflies and bees around…it happens 😇 but we get to good stuff too. 🦋✨

Things that are important to consider if you want to have real control over the Vibe of your session: light. The fullness, the time, the direction, etc

Things you absolutely don’t HAVE to worry about during your session: the light 🫶 full sun, golden hour, partial clouds, “dappled light” (that spotty looking stuff often caused by tree branches), light rain?! If you’re flexible, so am I 🙂 I’m comfortable meeting at any time of day and I’ll be clear in communicating what our outcome may be and how we can play With the weather for the best outcome!

Weather/light questions? I’d love to hear them and answer in the comments ☔️🌤️✨ by @heynextpaige

Favorite crusty man comment I’ve seen lately is “are they a good photographer or do they just put borders on their photos?” 🤣

First of all, I find it Highly amusing (and slightly enjoyable, if I’m being honest 👻) when people take it upon themselves to get worked up about someone else’s artistic choices… but also I’m just gonna hop up on a happy little soapbox to say: photography/design/art/literature (etc) “rules” are just guidelines, yeah? You learn em and then you break em, etc 🙂 so let us go forth and Do What We Want in our art and know that our clients are choosing us for how we treat them and how we see the world, not for how well we follow rules that are actually opinions 😘

LOVE YOUUU 😁 -P
