Fished the Tbf Oregon 2 fish open out of Boardman and had a super slow morning. It took me almost 3 hours to find them, but when I did, it happened fast! I started with 2 fish for about 6lbs, then I got a bite that gave me a clue. I rolled into a spot, made my second cast, and caught a 4lber. Two casts later, I caught a 5.5, and two casts after that, I caught a 6! (It weighed 5.15lbs on my scale after spitting out a 5-6in perch at the boat 😭). I ended the day with 11.37lbs, catching 2 smallmouth and breaking my personal smallie record twice in the same day! Congrats to @j_virgilfishing and Mr. Burkhardt on their win with 12.54lbs and 2 stud largemouth! Also, congrats to @kyleclarkfishing for a 2nd place finish and big fish with his 6.97 largemouth! Shoutout to @discount_tackle for all they do for this event! by @hhbaitco

Just a few from this morning. Caught several more. Had to keep making adjustments with the temp dipping to 57 and 15-25 wind. It was a straight battle all morning. Adjusted my original gameplan to play to the temp and the wind...has pretty much Bluebird skys as well. Really focused on throwing into the wind and working out from the wind blown banks. Alot of fish were pushed up shallow on the banks. Worked primarily a basic 4 combo. Berkley 1/4 oz Swim Jig head with primarily Crush City 3in Mayors in Shad and Albino Shad on a Sixgill Heimdall 7' Medium Heavy Rod w/ a Kistler Kyrios 7:3:1 Reel 12pd P-line. Crush City Pigstick Green Pumpkin on a Duckett Torch 6'9 Medium Heavy Spinning Rod w/a Abu Garcia Jordan Lee 6:2:1 Reel 15lb Braid Berkley 1/4oz Underspin Jig head w/ Strike King 3.25 Rage Swimmer Green Pumpkin Pearl on a Kistler 7'0 Lite-medium-heavy Multi-purpose Rod w/a Kistler Kyrios 7:3:1 Reel with 15lb P-line. 6th Sense 1/8 oz Finesse Jig head w/ H&H Bait Co 4" Albino Dinger on a Googan Squad 7' Medium Fast Finesse Spinning Rod w/a Kistler Kyrios 2500 6:6:1 reel w/15 lb braid. I was in the Jon Boat today so it was a wild ride and no graphs. I used the Dinger as a quick follow up bait to misses or bumps and it worked great. Enjoy every minute on the water and Tight Lines my friends!! #fish # fishing #fallfishing #windy #cool #coolertemps #bassfishing #Bassfishingvideos #Bassfishinglures #everyone #fyp #foryou #foryourpage #angler #fishdaily #fishlife #bassfishinglife #techniques #fishingtechniques #fishgram #fishingknowledge #alabama #Kistler #Berkley #Strikeking #DuckettFishing #AbuGarcia #Rapala #CrushCity #Sixgill #GooganSquad by @hhbaitco
