LinkedIn Positioning and Branding in 7 Days | 80+ Global Client Wins
POSTS STORIES REELS
My first ever LinkedIn live, and I still don't believe what happened. (I refreshed the numbers twice) 240 plus people showed up. 544 comments by the end. (nobody warned me it would be like this) The value we packed into that hour was next level. THE COMMENTS ARE THE PROOF, not me saying it. @aasthasharmabranding we just did it!!!! AND YOU GAVE WAY TOO MUCH VALUE FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS FREE 😅 Thank you to everyone who showed up and stayed till the end. You know who you are. Prepared for LinkedIn Live, Part Two, Aastha 😁 by @hhdipto
My client Rebecca went from a LinkedIn profile that was not creating enough trust to a profile that communicates her expertise instantly within just 1 week. Before we worked together: → People were landing on her profile but not fully understanding what she actually does → Her banner had too much going on visually, but the positioning itself was not clear → The featured section was not guiding visitors toward any action → There was no service section And honestly, this is where many consultants lose opportunities without realizing it. Because if your profile creates confusion instead of confidence, people leave. So before I even touched the design, I focused on understanding: → Who she actually wants to attract → How she wanted to position herself → What her profile needed to communicate instantly Then we rebuilt the profile around that. → Clearer positioning → Better message structure → Featured sections with stronger CTAs → Stronger visual consistency One thing Rebecca specifically mentioned in her testimonial stood out to me. She said I overdelivered because I didn’t just send final designs. I also gave her editable files and a positioning framework she can continue using later as her services evolve. People need to quickly understand: → what you do → who you help → why they should trust you So I made a detailed Notion breakdown showing exactly how I approach consultant positioning before I even start designing. Inside it, I break down: → What weakens trust instantly on LinkedIn → Why some profiles fail to convert visitors into conversations → How to structure your Linkedin Banner more strategically Comment PROFILE and I’ll send it to the next 10 people. by @hhdipto
I do not always need to showcase my expertise. My clients' results speak for themselves. If your corporate website is highly professional but your personal profile looks like a free template, you are actively losing high-ticket buyers. Bill Kantor relies heavily on LinkedIn to reach his market for his software platform, Funnelcast. But his personal branding was entirely disconnected from his company's corporate identity. I noticed his content in the feed and spotted the visual disconnect. We initiated a complete visual audit project to fix his foundation. We did not just add a company logo to his profile. We built a complete visual architecture: → Aligned his profile visuals directly to his corporate identity so his content is immediately recognizable. → Engineered a custom slider banner to communicate his software's precise value. → Structured his featured section and service section layouts to drive conversions. In the video below, Bill mentions that I pushed back on certain ideas. That is the difference between an freelance graphic designer and a visual architect. A cheap designer will say yes to everything. I will push back on your ideas if they negatively impact your conversion rate. Bill now has a personal brand that matches the exact authority of his software platform. Listen to his breakdown of our process in the video below. If your personal profile is out of sync with your actual business value, send me a DM with the word "Audit". by @hhdipto
I removed a $10M+ marketer’s own name from his LinkedIn banner. What we put there instead changed how buyers see him.  He could try building the banner with AI. 7 or 8 hours later, he might get something close.  But close is not what he wants on the first thing a buyer sees. And those hours would come out of the work he does best. So Oliver Dunn and I worked on it together, and from first draft to final version, including feedback and revisions, it took less than 48 hours. We removed his name from the banner. In its place, we put what he does and the big media names that have featured his clients. A well positioned banner is built to: → Say what he sells without a scroll → Make his positioning clear in 3 seconds → Help the right buyers understand what he does → Look high end and premium, which matters most The point is not a nicer banner. It is Oliver spending his time where it earns the most. What is one task you still do yourself that is not worth your hours? by @hhdipto
35 years in business. And his LinkedIn banner made him look like he started last year. Carlo Guzzi founded Epic Business Hub after 35+ years around business, sales and life. He helps founders step back from the day to day and see what’s holding them back. But his old banner said “Clarity Before Scale” with a “Book Your Clarity Call” button. Nobody could tell what that meant or what the call would give them. And the design didn’t match the level he works at. Before I designed anything, I looked at his whole business. Here’s what I found: → The message was abstract, with no clear direction → It never said who he helps → His name was on the banner, even though it’s already on his profile → It looked like a new business, not a 35 year one So I built the strategy first, then designed it. Here’s what changed: → A headline that names his ideal client: “Where stuck founders get their next move” → A subheading that says exactly what he gives them: clarity, structure and momentum → A premium look that matches his experience → The extra clutter gone The result: 20+ inbound enquiries in the first week. “[Hasibul] listened, understood exactly what I was after and delivered something I’m genuinely proud to have on my profile.” That’s what Carlo told me. Carlo helps business owners who want a second set of eyes on their business. His Business Scorecard checks Profit, Systems, Pipeline and Team. If that’s you, message him. Most people see a LinkedIn banner as just a visual element. I treat it as the last step. First I understand your business, then I build the strategy, then I design it so people get it in seconds. If your profile doesn’t show the level you really work at, book a free 15 minute strategy call with me. Link in the comments. I live and breathe the Profile Signal Check. Every single week, I see several coaches with real results redo their banner, photo and headline. The profile looks better. The inbox looks the same. They polished how it looks before deciding what it should say. So I use the Profile Signal Check to flip it and start with your goal. Here’s how it works: 1. Compare your goal with your profile Put what you want from LinkedIn next to what your profile says today. 2. Spot weak profile signals The gap between the two shows exactly where your profile falls short. 3. Position your value for ideal clients Speak to their pain points and the outcomes you deliver, the way they think and decide. 4. Align visuals with expertise The step people skip most. If your look doesn’t match what you know, it costs you opportunities. A better banner only makes an unclear message look nice. Your message, headline and visuals have to tell the same story. The result is a profile where visitors understand your expertise and can tell whether you’re relevant to them. P.S. When did you last change your banner or headline, and did your inbox change? by @hhdipto
LinkedIn Slider Banners are NOT dead. They’re being misused. Each slide stays on screen for only 2.5 seconds before automatically moving to the next. That limits how much anyone can read. Yet many slider banners are built without deciding what each slide needs to say. The mistakes I keep seeing: → So much text it’s practically unreadable Viewers can’t finish reading before the next slide appears. → AI designs with text too small to read on mobile → The same information or images repeated across slides LinkedIn Premium gives you up to five banners. Each one needs a purpose. In the video, I’m showing the slider banner I designed for Stacey, one of Canada’s influential women lawyers. → First: her statement → Second: her credibility → Third: her target audience → Fourth: her speciality → Fifth: a call to action I planned the message, strategy and visuals before designing a single slide. Which of these mistakes have you seen on a slider banner, or made on your own? by @hhdipto
@laraacostar sent me a connection request🤗 I still can’t believe it! In 2023, I was watching her on a LinkedIn Live. In 2026, I joined her community, Literally Academy. Since then, I’ve been getting her feedback at different stages of my journey. Not just on LinkedIn. On my offers, my pricing, my monetization and more. And recently, I had a 90 minute 1:1 call with her. That is not luck. That is what happens when you keep showing up on top of strong positioning. Mine is simple. Every week, I share real client transformations of LinkedIn banners and profiles for consultants and coaches on LinkedIn What was wrong before. What I did to fix it. Consistency without it ends in burnout. Consistency with it changes who finds you. This is my living proof. P.S. If Lara has helped you in any way, big or small, I’d love to hear about it in the comments. by @hhdipto

I got to know a Senior Technical Account Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) beyond his posts. He is Manuel Martinez. Our inbox conversation started with his LinkedIn profile. As we continued talking, I learned about his YouTube podcast, Career Downloads, which deserves a mention here. It features insightful interviews sharing real-life career experiences. And when I shared my own progress, his reply encouraged me: "You're putting in the work and now the results are following." I hope Career Downloads continues to grow quickly and reaches more people who can learn from these real-life experiences. I've met people through the work I do and learned that people are so much more than what they share online. Follow Manuel for insightful career conversations. Thank you for your time, Manuel. It was great meeting you, and I hope to see you again soon. by @hhdipto
He went from selling words... until words could be written by machines. Tom Valcanis at I Sell Words was thriving up until the mainstream debut of Generative AI, losing 80% of his clients overnight. Website copywriting and content wasn't dead, but it wasn't like it used to be. In 2023 he pivoted to creating what matters most for professional services businesses: conversion and retention loops, that means capturing more leads and gaining more sales from repeat customers. That meant an entire rebrand. Here’s what I helped him with: → A brand new LinkedIn banner → Featured images for his special new offers → A pull up banner for in person networking events and conferences → One unified design language and colour scheme for I Sell Words "People just love the banner," Tom says. "They always comment on how striking it is and that it's clear and precise. Hasibul really knocked it out of the park, like he always does!" If you are frustrated with marketing that doesn't convert or are sitting on a big database of contacts you aren't talking to, Tom helps business make more revenue with conversion and retention loops. by @hhdipto
I used to believe a lie that almost kept me stuck in that small room forever. I thought I needed a massive studio setup and a huge financial backup before I could call myself a professional. I thought "value" meant appearing perfect, as if I had every answer and a shiny office to prove it. If I had waited for that setup, I would still be sitting behind that broken table. Real authority is not about the equipment you own. It is about the truth you share. Here is the honest reality of my journey right now: → The Expectation Gap: I recently finished a project where the client loved the design. They were happy with the visuals. But their expectation was a trap. They thought a banner would magically bring in clients overnight. I had to tell them the truth: design is a bridge to your authority, but you still have to walk across it. → The Brainstorming Struggle: I am not an AI. Sometimes the ideas do not come in seconds. I spend hours staring at a screen, scrapping concepts, and starting over because I am human. Information is everywhere. Connection is rare. Value is not a list of 3 tips you found on Google. Value is the honesty of your "messy middle." It is the post where you admit you are still figuring things out, and someone else finally feels less alone. My Mission: To bridge the gap between how LinkedIn experts are and how their profile visuals should be. I transform profiles into high-conversion assets so their visual signal finally matches their authority. Follow me to join the journey. by @hhdipto
