POSTS STORIES REELS

A look into my accordion insert that I chose to use for documenting my trips to Calgary! I love my stickers but I have too many to haul around so I’ve been relying on my sketchy sketching skills to draw foods I eat or exciting things that happen… This was originally planned to be a stop motion video but the clips were too clunky so I only kept the beginning.

How do you like to document your trips? :D by @hi.hiraeth

She’s (almost) baccckkk? Maybe. Life is overwhelming lately but I have been working to make it less so… somehow. I went to @flufffestival which was SO cool! Lots of interesting foods haha. I’m trying to do more art (to be more creative and also scroll less) - what offline hobbies are you guys into? Happy fall! 🍁🍂

Bonus if you know what movie the quote is from!! Someone told me it was creepy though so that’s why it’s buried in a post… by @hi.hiraeth

Loving this accordion style (?) insert!!! Wanted to do something fun and creative for my trip to Calgary to visit family. I also challenged myself to ONLY use my pens for this spread - I’m pretty happy with how it came out!! You can definitely tell I got lazy with some of the doodles 👀 Can’t wait to go back and visit some more and hopefully go on a hike in Banff!

Haha are you tired of these yet?

Truthfully I just haven’t had time / motivation to journal in my Hobonichi weeks but hoping I can get caught up this weekend. I can’t believe it’s actually spring! It does not truly feel like that here 😅 by @hi.hiraeth

Oof I am so behind 😅

Honestly I’ve just been in… a slump for the past month and a half. Slowly working my way out of it but man… there’s just so much going on it’s sometimes overwhelming. I’m really excited though to keep working on these food entries - they’re so fun to do and it’s forcing me to use up my sticker hoard.

I’m thinking of doing a reel / post series about doing things I’m scared of - things I’ve done in the past and am afraid I’m not good at. I feel like some part of me holds back from doing stuff bc it won’t be “perfect” the first time - I want to try and override that mindset. Maybe you’ll see a reel or post from me in the upcoming weeks that’s totally unrelated to journalling 🙏🏻 by @hi.hiraeth

Nom nomming my way through the weeks. I don’t usually get too political on here but recently it feels like life is in limbo - grieving for what’s going on in the United States and also just… living and working. It sometimes doesn’t feel right to go on like everything is normal because it’s not. So there’s some stuff we can do - we can call our representatives, make donations, join the strike on the 30th in any way you can, and speak up when people try to pretend this is ok or normal.

I didn’t mean for this to become so serious but journalling while others are fearing for their loved ones or safety and community is such a privilege and it’s wrong not to speak up. by @hi.hiraeth

Anotha week of eats! A little less exciting but at least I’m eating better breakfasts lolol. What are your go to breakfast meals?? by @hi.hiraeth

First weekly spread in my Hobonichi weeks! Reallly love the colour palette - it’s so soft and refreshing 😌 Lowkey tho set the bar too high and now I’m struggling for the second week 😅 Peep my new Suruga Bay too ✨nib pic at the end! by @hi.hiraeth

Wahoo!! Finished my first food log spread for 2026! I’m really happy to get back into this journal style - the weekly layout is perfect to keep track of everything I’ve been eating! One funny thing about this is discovering what stickers I have / don’t have. I thought I’d have an okonomiyaki sticker amongst the 50+ sheets but nope LOL. I also like how I am using up more of the stickers that have been dormant in my collection 😌 Do you guys like to keep track of what you’ve been eating? by @hi.hiraeth

And that’s a wrap on the 2025 monthly spreads! Looking forward to sharing 2026 weekly and monthly spreads! And also a new food log hehe. by @hi.hiraeth

Happy New Year!! So excited for new and fun adventures in 2026 :) I saw the 2026 goals / resolutions bingo card idea and it looks so fun hehe. What would you put on yours? by @hi.hiraeth

I can’t believe we’re at the end of 2025 already! I feel like this year has been… pretty crazy but amongst all of that, a lot of good has happened too 😌 What have been some highlights from 2025 for you? I went camping for the first time in a while, I got a job, I made a whole lot of new friends! and more of course :) I’m looking forward to 2026 even though there’s a big change happening soon haha 😅 Happy New Year to everyone and can’t wait to continue sharing my happy journal moments with all of you ❤️ by @hi.hiraeth
