POSTS STORIES REELS

@ranchocontentomorongovalley was never built to follow trends.

Cowboy Ed — artist, builder, original dreamer of the property, created a ranch with a soul you can still feel today.

In 2021, Rancho Contento saw its next chapter: not just a beautiful space, but a desert escape familes, and small groups celebrating just about anything could slip away to for a few days, or for a little while longer.

3️⃣ renovations.

4️⃣ years as a full-time Airbnb.

130+ five-star stays later…

Now @ranchocontentomorongovalley is featured in @parademag for a design story that still feels as timeless as ever.

Some places you visit. Some places stay with you.

Thank you @style_me_annie for this feature as one of the 10 Decor Trends From 2016 that are still relevant. by @hidesertmanagement

@nicksharp.life, M.A., LPCC, GEP blends modern psychology with ancient, nature-based wisdom. A Gestalt Equine Psychotherapist, he partners with horses to create powerful relational healing experiences rooted in trust, presence, and authenticity.

When you book a stay at Rancho Contento, you can add on a private equine therapy session, inviting deeper connection, emotional release, and a reminder that we are nature too. by @hidesertmanagement

Wake up to desert skies and mountain views. Rancho Contento’s master suite is made for moments like this.

Appreciate the feature in @delish by @manhattantwist exploring how food, connection, and shared rituals shape our relationships. As someone who works at the intersection of nature and human development, I believe attuned and lasting intimacy is built through presence—not just pleasure.

(And for the record—I don’t consider a cheeseburger “junk food.” Let’s call it what it is: therapeutic.)

Take a quick listen to a moment from my fireside chat with the one and only @danfleyshman during an @operationblacksite workshop at his ranch in Temecula.

We discussed the potency of relationships with the natural world, how the world around us informs the lives we lead, and how to start creating a life of meaning. by @hidesertmanagement

SUNSET DINNER @cascadetrails_jt

Hi, I’m Dori—founder of Hi Desert Management. After spending most of my life in New York City, I made the move to Joshua Tree full-time in 2022. Since then, I’ve expanded the talent agency and co-invested in @ranchocontentomorongovalley, a 10-acre desert ranch where we’ve hosted hundreds of guests from around the world, as well as film shoots, and creative productions for @bmw @tonylamaboots @as1one_official +more!

There’s something magnetic about this place. Joshua Tree has a way of drawing in the right people—artists, dreamers, and the very best kind of weirdos—many of whom have become chosen family.

Living in the desert full-time cracked open everything I was missing in the concrete jungle. I feel more grounded, more creative, more me.

Endless love to this wild little corner of the world—and deep gratitude to my clients who trust my vision to help them become the best versions of themselves. xx by @hidesertmanagement

@noahkaplanofficial It’s an honor to represent you and your new hilarious reality show @thousanddollarlistingshow

Just when rising real estate agent Noah Kaplan thought he’d made it big, he gets fired on national television from the Million Dollar Listing NY team leaving him broke and scrambling to pay his own rent. With a bruised ego and no backup plan, Noah shifts gears and dives into the gritty world of NYC’s budget-friendly rental market. Fueled by a mix of revenge, ambition, and sheer desperation, he’s determined to prove he can still make it as an agent in the toughest city that never sleeps.

Expect laughs, chaos, and plenty of “Is this really what people pay for?” moments as he attempts to make even the tiniest apartments feel like home. Will he turn his life around — one $400 commission at a time. by @hidesertmanagement
