Presenting: “Corner Booth!” Have you ever visited a multi-vendor antique market? We spend a lot of time in them, so we created a pop-up style, NYC-sized cutaway. This is our little vendor booth located in Red Hook, Brooklyn courtesy of our delightful friends at High Beam Coffee. We’ll be restoring and bringing new pieces on an ongoing basis as their predecessors sell, so keep on popping by for colorful, bright coffees to enjoy while you peep our vintage pieces—coffee thoughtfully roasted and prepared on-site. ☕️ We’re so excited to meet you✨ #mcm #brooklynpopup #directtradecoffee #midcenturymodern #quitequeercoffee by @highbeam.coffee
Come show us your back to school outfits and get a free teddy bear cookie with your drink tomorrow, September 10 in Carroll Gardens. We are also introducing a 10% discount for teachers at both locations all year. Come by afterschool for a cool lemonade, hot chocolate or afternoon coffee. Backyard is open for those with extra energy to enjoy ✨ by @highbeam.coffee
Nectarous Drop Nº 101: TWIN PEAKS · Ngunguru & Giakanja · Kenya 🇰🇪 Twins raised on the same hill rarely turn out the same. Ngunguru and Giakanja sit a few ridges apart in Nyeri, same SL grapes, same washed process, and they still came out tasting like two different coffees. High Beam boxed both so you can brew them side by side. One hillside, two personalities. Ngunguru pours rich and jammy: black plum, Concord grape, blackcurrant. Giakanja flips bright: nectarine, white grape, almost fizzy. Roasted by High Beam in Red Hook, Brooklyn, who roast light and fast to keep every coffee’s pop alive. The lots came through Peter Mbature of Kamavindi, one of the most respected names in Kenyan coffee, the kind the best roasters chase. Giakanja alone regularly clears 88 at the table. Let there be bright. Drops tomorrow morning by text. One day only. Sign up at the link in bio. 🍯 by @highbeam.coffee
The famous Winston and his cool people Diana and John are taking over our Redhook patio this Sunday afternoon! John (@djpapertiger) is setting the vibes while Diana sketches live portraits of your pup. Grab a coffee, vibe to the music, and let us become best friends with your dog! This weekend we have a little Koji Magic. It’s a little creamy, fruity treat made by steeping our Los Nogales Low-Caff in @hacco.nyc Koji Barista. It’s really special, come try it, we want to see youuu✨ by @highbeam.coffee
A new perspective on coffee, inspired by Koji. At High Beam Coffee Roastery @highbeam.coffee , we had the opportunity to explore what happens when specialty coffee meets fermentation. Together with Selina Ullrich, we tasted lattes made with Organic KOJI BARISTA and sampled a unique Koji-fermented coffee from Peñas Blancas, Bruselas, Pitalito, Huila, Colombia. The result was unlike anything we expected. According to Selina, the coffee expressed a remarkably sparkly and minty character, with a refreshing brightness reminiscent of fresh lime juice. Beyond its vibrant acidity, the Koji fermentation added an entirely new layer of depth and complexity, creating a cup that felt both clean and incredibly expressive. At hacco, we believe Koji has the potential to unlock entirely new possibilities—not only in baking and cooking, but also in the world of specialty coffee. This is just the beginning. Thank you, Selina and the team at High Beam Coffee Roastery, for sharing your passion and curiosity with us. #coffee #fermented #latte #koji #barista by @highbeam.coffee

Super juicy. Super fruity. Very pink. Our NoCaff Spritz is the cutest all-day summer refresher. Be sure to snag one the next time you’re in 🌟 by @highbeam.coffee
As we continue preparing for the opening of hacco in Williamsburg, we recently conducted a coffee cupping session to select the beans that will be served in our store. We were honored to do this together with Selina Ullrich of High Beam @highbeam.coffee One of the inspirations behind Organic KOJI BARISTA was our deep respect for coffee professionals—the roasters, baristas, and craftspeople who dedicate themselves to creating exceptional coffee experiences. Being able to explore the possibilities of fermentation alongside talented professionals like Selina is both meaningful and inspiring. Earlier this year, Selina joined us on stage at Specialty Coffee Expo Houston @specialtycoffeeassociation where Organic KOJI BARISTA was recognized with the Best New Product Award. Since then, we have continued exploring how coffee and fermentation can work together to create something new. As we move closer to opening our doors, we’re excited to see these ideas take shape. The project is progressing steadily, driven by creativity, passion, and the collaboration of many talented people. We’re hoping to welcome you by the end of this summer. More updates coming soon. #coffee #latte #hacco #koji #barista by @highbeam.coffee
