Sacred rage is holy🔥 In Episode 2, we explored the power of our sacred rage and how it can be a force of transformation. We assembled this simple altar in our podcast space to ground our intention for this big and complex topic. In the episode we share the myth of the goddess Kali. She is the fierce yet liberating goddess of destruction, creation, and raw feminine power. Though her image may seem intense, she is a reminder that true power comes from embracing our full selves—rage included. She calls to us when it’s time to rise, time to change, and time to say goodbye to what is no longer needed. 🖤✨

A glimpse into Episode 1: Shadow Work 🖤✨ At the end of episode 1 we pulled two powerful cards from Kim Krans’ Alchemy Deck—Coagulation & Neptune. Together, they remind us of the delicate balance between grounding ourselves in reality, while still being flexible, and surrendering to something greater. Shadow work is about diving to the depths and removing ourselves from our illusions so we can live an embodied and authentic life. Where are you at on your shadow work journey? As a cerebral and mystical being I tend to romanticize the unseen and avoid the physical. Like anything, this is a blessing and a curse. On one hand, this makes me highly creative, empathetic, and imaginative. On the other hand, I trend toward fantasy and illusion, rather than facing reality. I much prefer to live in a world of potential, choosing to see the best in people and situations, but sometimes I am forced to get real. So boring🙄, but necessary. Since it is more natural for me to live in this dreamy place inside my mind, it wouldn’t make much sense to try and think myself out of these habits. If I try to change my mind with my mind (which is already programmed with the habits and patterns that feel good to me) I am, naturally, going to be met with resistance. Instead, I am shifting my focus to the physical to move the energy from my mind to my body. This is the power of opposites and alchemy. Taking one thing and transmuting it to another.

If you are suffering from a physical ailment, whether it be health or financial trouble, maybe it’s time to address it from a spiritual perspective through prayer and manifestation? We are meant to use all of our faculties and abilities in balance. If we lean towards one extreme or the other we will, inevitably, be met with resistance. We are a spirit in a physical vessel, and it’s our task to find a way to merge the two to create the harmony we desire in our lives.

This is an invitation to consider, is there is an area of your life that could use more grounding, or could you use more co-creation with your spirit? Now is a perfect time to rest and contemplate the areas of our lives that need to change😘🌈

I also make no apologies for my song choice.

✨A reminder that everything is made up and you can choose to believe whatever the fuck you want✨

The religions of the world were created by man. Although, perhaps well intended, religion often perpetuates separation and exclusion, which directly contradict many of the teachings at their core. The community and shared intention that religion creates is a beautiful thing, but I feel we are moving into a time where the lines are going to begin to blur more and more. If you do minimal amounts of research you will start to question the narratives we have been fed through our various religions and societal conditioning. This doesn’t mean that any religion has it completely wrong or that there is maleficent intent, but it does show that, just because we believe something to be true, doesn’t mean that it actually is. Something can be true to us, personally, but it may not be true for the next person. Some people find their connection to God through Jesus, and that is true for them. But their belief does not make it wrong for another person to find their connection to God through the Buddha. And their belief doesn’t make it wrong for another person to find their connection to God in nature.

I think it’s detrimental to the survival of our species that we start focusing on inclusion and unity. We don’t have to believe the same thing to come together. You don’t need other people to agree with you for your beliefs to be true. There is not an objective truth. We each create our own truth through the lens of our unique perception, which is created by our personal past. None of us will ever see things in exactly the same way, and that is the beauty of this human experience. Imagine how much we could learn from each other if we led with curiosity and compassion? We are so different, yet we all still share the experience of what it is to be a human living on this planet. Our being-ness is what connects us, and that carries a lot more weight than our opinions and perceptions.

So, believe whatever you want, follow your own truth, and allow others to do the same❤️

✨Full Moon in Leo✨

“I’m lovingly letting go of the need to be understood”

This full moon is largely about the reclamation of our power, and I feel that deeply. I know I’m not the only one who is triggered by being misunderstood. I have talked to many people, especially women, who share this common wound of feeling the need to prove ourselves, of being enraged by injustice, especially when we feel that injustice is aimed at us, personally. Especially when the person misunderstanding you is someone you love. How many times have you been in an argument and you feel like the person looking at you has a completely different view of you than you have of yourself and you will stop at nothing to prove that they are wrong about you? The truth is, we have no control over how people perceive us. Every person you meet has a different version of you in their awareness and it’s not your job to change that. Your only job is to know yourself and love yourself, and you will attract people into your life who want to know and love you too. It is time to stop trying to convince people to see you who are dedicated to misunderstanding you. This rage you feel inside during these triggering moments is coming from the part of you that knows who you really are, your soul. Your soul knows your truth and knows you deserve to be around people who want to see the best in you. I believe every situation and every person in your life is trying to teach you something. If you are anything like me, and are constantly faced with people who are convinced they know you more than you know yourself, they might be right. It might be time to make sure you know yourself and know what you want, so that you can live your authentic expression with confidence. If you have a deep need to feel understood, it’s time to understand yourself and love yourself. This trigger is a call to reclaim your power. To stop defending yourself, and to stop begging people to see you. You aren’t for everyone, and that’s okay BB😘

✨ Full Moon in Leo✨
🌕🌕🌕
The full moon is a great opportunity to take inventory of our life and see where we can make adjustments to come more into alignment. We are all affected by the cycles of the moon, whether we follow astrology or not. So, for me, I choose to work with the energy available, otherwise I know the energy will work me and I probably won’t like it. I am not a professional astrologer but when I learn more about how the universe works, and learn how I can work with the energy available, I empower myself to be a creator of my life, rather than a victim to it. Sharing my interpretation of the lunar cycles will, at the very least, help me expand my own knowledge and, more broadly, I hope to aid in loosening the stigma around astrology so people can use it to their benefit. For those who are open, I hope you swipe through and find the journal prompts in this post helpful. I would love to hear how these themes are showing up for y’all🤍
